Thank you so much for the wonderful tutorial and the templates! You are truly a bright spot in my world, I love your ideas, designs, and enthusiasm, your talent knows no bounds!
This is a great idea to save templates. Since your acetate is printable you probably could have printed out your file folder pattern directly on the acetate. But I understand you were sharing a how to for those who have regular acetate. TFS
Fabulous Tinne!!! Thank you so much!! Here's another idea, if you left the back side longer on the sheet with the train, you could just score it and glue the train piece on top so there would be no need for the tape.
Thank you for your testimony! I’m so happy for you! I’m 53 years old, and was always active and felt great. In the last 10 years, my health has gotten so bad. Joint issues, digestive issues, fibromyalgia, depression, etc. I just got a rebounder. I saw those crazy videos…they’re awesome…but I can’t do it! I found this channel, and it is perfect for me! I’m doing the beginner/ senior ones too! I’m really excited and feel so positive about this. Now, after hearing your story. I’m even more hopeful! Thank you so much! 💕🦉💕
Thank you so very much I looked on your Amazon shop and your Etsy shop but I couldn't find the acetate sheets.. Can I use any acetate sheets to make your template shapes? Thank you Always Linda.
@@ducky72la Acetate sheets come in different thicknesses so just make sure you get the thickest ones. They will last you longer. I have some that I've used for over 20 years now. Good Luck, Jenny
You are so generous with your tutorials and freebies. I'm82 with bad health and only social security to live on. So I have to take advantage of freebies and sales. The comment below mentioned your story. Where can I find it. I have all the issues that person has plus diabetes and a few more. Maybe hearing your story can help me too. I am in the middle of a depression due to seasonal affective disorder witch causes depressive episodes in spring and fall. Again thank you for your generosity. When might you have a 70% off on the Edgar Allen Poe journal kits. It is my major want of your kits.
You can also overprint the outline of the file folder directly onto the paper. But the clear template does give you more positioning ability with the design.
I just use my paper trimmer if i can for all the straight lines, not scissors. Or just a ruler and a blade. You can also use your paper punches for corners, or designs too.
you must make a lot of templates ;) Id rather replace a blade than sharpen my scissors, lol. I know I know i do sharpen my scissors about once a week, as i use them to cut through everything i can. Lol. I use them to cut through heavy chip board, and plastic bottles etc. But cutting i nice smooth straight line with them? not happening in my world. =) But i can cut along the ruler's edge with a blade. Love your videos@@vectoriadesigns
if using printable acetate you can just print the file on it then cut. if you use a craft knife to cut you have two templates the inner and outer one (or template and mask)
I make templates with acetate using my cameo to cut them out. I can't cut a straight line for the life of me! But I'm going to show this to my daughter who does not have a cutting machine!
Personally in this case I'd just print the template directly on top of the pattern paper. There isn't any writing in the middle of the template just the thin fold line that won't look odd.
Hi Tinne ! Thank you for the freebie templates & this video! great idea Jenny! ;)

Not yet, but I hope to make that!

I'm not sure what you mean with my "story". The Edgar Allan Poe kit will probably be available with a 70% discount in September.

Yes, that's definitely possible as well, but you have less choice in perfect positioning ^^
I just use my paper trimmer if i can for all the straight lines, not scissors. Or just a ruler and a blade. You can also use your paper punches for corners, or designs too.
Yes, that's possible, but myself I choose not too since they become blunt very quickly then.

That would be correct. But from 1:12 to 1:20 Tinne explains why she does it this way. Most of us don't have printable acetate.
yes I know, I was just letting people know they can't just print on the acetate then cut around it.
Hi Tinne, I would’ve thought acetate and transparencies would show fingerprints which are impossible to remove. No?
I don't really seem to have that problem.
I make templates with acetate using my cameo to cut them out. I can't cut a straight line for the life of me! But I'm going to show this to my daughter who does not have a cutting machine!
Do you think painters tape would work?
Yes, mine is painter's tape, but make sure to use tape that's for super sensitive surfaces, regular painter's tape could damage the paper.
