The clickity clack comes when the train goes over a joint. The joints are used to put two rails together. Rail today comes in pieces that are a quarter mile long and they get welded together to make a smoother ride. No joint is required when you have continuous welded rail.
Nice that you did that on the 17th anniversary of the Acela Express
15:07 I thought that was an Arrow III for a second because of the horn. Lol
I love hearing the clicking sound when the wheels go over the rails

I can tell by train horn & sound effects of what train is what train

How come the SLEs are using the same locomotives as Amtrak? just curious
What camera were you using?
19:12 What’s Amtrak doing on an SLE?
David Ng They removed the logo
That's a former-Amtrak P40DC that was bought by Shore Line East. It hasn't had it's Amtrak logos removed yet.
Damn that walkway is public?
*grabs keys
No free parking in the area though, except on weekends lmao
Oof
@@FanRailer where is it, that looks awesome and scary at the same time
Just wondering, have you even filmed any Thanksgiving Sunday trains this year?
23:23 Whats the car between the the ends of the 2 car m8 sets? It can’t be the bar car, right?
@Kenji Levin they are powered, they just don't have cabs, ever notice the catenary on top
It’s called an S car, I’m pretty sure it just allows the train sets to have an odd number of cars. They’re pretty common.
is that really morning??!?!?!!!!!
What happened with the M8 tests on the SLE that occurred within the last year?
The cars for SLE service are on order.
The SLE M8s are expected to enter service in 2019
@@Liamflynnphoto I come from the future. It's now happened, but in the year 2022.
can you go to stamford station?
What has made American trains so slow?
Maybe that very tight turn out of the station has something to do with it.
Not as slow as your brain.
David Wu this is just a slower part of a high speed line. If you look up a video of let’s say Princeston Junction, you’ll see some real high speed
Amtrak?
350 mph train
More like 100
FIRST
Really? cool.
