India needs shopping malls to shop comfortably in AC with all brands under one roof and also entertainment for kids and whole family. Shopping malls in India will do great if they take care of all these things and keep attracting customers with various events , offers and festive celebrations
Both offline & online have their benefits and disadvantages. Visiting offline stores in Malls & other Retail stores have their own advantages. Like product experience and other elements. Online is a good option if physical viewing of the product is not required. So a combination is best!

Even smallest vendors and shopkeeper take shop rents, electricity bill and other expenses from products sale . Shopping mall/centers are centrally air-conditioned with advanced facilities. So for common people they wouldn't provide any discount. It's basically for surplus money people /community needs. So if mange to limit number in city would allow all to progress. Rich as well as common citizens.
