My top 5. Love it! But try to compile even a top 10. If you are older and have always loved music...it's hard. Please think hard and let me know what your top 10 of all time is. Would really enjoy hearing what you come up with. Maybe this can be a "thing." What would be everyone's top 10 playlist. I wouldn't know where to start. I am so grateful to musicians that's for sure. If I absolutely had no choice but to pick #1 I would have to choose "Moonlight Sonata" by Beethoven. Mom used to play it on our piano..
Please don't forget about PINK FLOYD..........................The Beatles, PInk Floyd and Depeche Mode are some of the greatest artists in human history................period.
slow the roll on the beatles, I'd seriously think about that. I love DM, but the Beatles are on that "FU" level. ya know all the tech and computer sounds DP uses, guess who was first band experiencing with that shit and all way back then?
Hi All, this track typifies what an outstanding album this is, with great song lyrics and the perfect sound backdrop. You could do a variety of mixes with this track, that would please even the most miserable. Superb song and one of their best. Cheers.
I prefer this version of the song from Ultra better than the video of "It's no good". Depeche Mode is my favourite band and the way of life. I wait for DM concert in Vilnius 20180222, have a ticket to fan zone!
anybody in'ere knows of the title with a lyrics "listen to the sound of noooowhere. the sight and sound of nobody else"... 'heard this when I was a wee kid. thanks in advance
I pray to the Lord Almighty! Release those bound in shame by fame from the cage. Please take care of them and never leave them, Lord. They have served so much of our purpose. May God be with us all, one and the same! UNited WE STAND! Praise all of our Glory to the King of all kings. IN JESUS' NAME AMEN
If it was it backfired badly because after this DM's music slid into mediocrity. 'Barrel of a Gun' and this were the last signs of Alan Wilder's influence and the last great DM tracks. The album 'Ultra' is a bridge from brilliance (like 'Violator' and 'SOFAD') to the poor standard of today. Very sad.
"The gods decree. You'll be right here by my side, right next to me" .....Get the F out of here. Yes Alan left but we still got David, Martin and Andrew
The perfect balance of classic DM keyboards with a dark overall tone without being just noise. Excellent!
I could never quiet explain this perfect balance, but you did and I appreciate that. This song is great.
Thanks to Tim Simenon.
Still one of the best songs of all time!
agree completely

It is not underrated. The only problem is that the children are listening to trash, not good music

I always wondered if this song was suppose to be a dis to Allan for leaving the band. ???
