I believe you are right that the skinny gasket is for early cars. I always understood that the wide gasket is 964 and newer. Not claiming this as fact but the comment good for your algorithm 😅
Great video Mike. Quick question, the front and hood and deck lid stops. No mention of their role in alignment. At what stage are you installing these and do you cut the rubbers to adjust height ?
Hello Paul thank you, Excellent question.. We are still doing video on the process and have not yet covered those areas. I will bring light to it on one of the upcoming vids. The stops can be installed at anytime and should be adjusted along with the latch on both hooks and deck lid. I would get the latch working 90% and then install the stops and fine tune as things come together. They should have slight pressure in holding the lids without vibration. Cheers!

Where are the seats for and where they custom recovered?
They are Corbeau race seats with custom red leather and custom black, red and cream houndstooth inserts.
