These are a fairly rare spawn on the center however if you are lucky enough to track one down they are a beautiful addition to your map !

Great timing on this episode. We added the owl griffin to the server last week after everyone was asking for it lol. As soon as I installed it we went and got us a 145 royal griffin 😁 then with a combo of the cloning chamber and the propagator we had a breeding pair within 2 hours of adding them 😂

From what I have seen the Royal Owl Griffin will spawn in the snow, the regular owl griffin can spawn anywhere. Those dragons are insane, would love to see how big you can get yours to grow! Great episode!!!!

We tend to have 2 or 3 regular owl griffins and 1 royal on the map when I check.
They're so much easier to tame with 2 people to trap it with gates too

Oh I bet it's so much better with help rofl 🤣 😆 I chased this guy around so much with the net gun to keep it tamed. It kept wanting to attack me after each net broke

@The_Survivors_Handbook yeah. We just had 4 gateways set up with a gate on one end. Nyx flew to the owl griffin to get it to chase her into the trap while I wait with another gate to trap it in. Then just cryo the argie from inside the trap. A little cheaty since you can't do it with vanilla cryos but oh well 🤣

And btw do the Owl Griffins eat raw meat?

Yep they're the same as the other griffin mods. You can tame them with kibble or meat and feed them with meat to keep them alive
