wow thanks for 1.9k views, also sry for the random loud sounds it was from my jacket’s metal buttons every time i assaulted my desk, will not happen again trust
why is this so accurate, like i wanna be alone but not lonely. the more i want to be alone the more people pursue me and the more others want to reach out or just maybe bother me. then all the sudden when you want or even need some sort of companionship it all disappears..
there are people who will be happy you approached them, i was non verbal and shy didn't have any friends in school then went to college and approached some girls who are now my best friends, we have different styles different interests but we get along so great they like me for me though im childish for my age whilst their mature haha but I think as humans we can all somehow connect no matter how different we are.
Your thoughts hit pretty close to home, especially observing other people in those friend groups that look tight. But like you mentioned, loneliness is a butterfly. Everyone, even the most socially outgoing people often have feelings of loneliness, ‘cause in the end we all have to rely on ourselves. We just have to deal with living with it and make the most out of the fun times with friends frr!
Saved this video in my "I resonate heavy with this" cuz damn I resonate heavy with this lol. I'm staying at a dorm full of people but I've never felt so lonely. I mean the people are cool and all and they're lots of fun but their definition of fun is different to mine. I like making music, paint and question the laws of the universe, not drinking lol. Anyway I just felt I needed to get this off my chest and seemed appropriate on a rant video. your message kindled a similar flame inside of me, so thank you
maybe the word you're looking for is solitude. which is basically loneliness without the negative connotation. keep up the videos i want to see you grow on here!
Making friends seems to get harder as we get older, and I think a big part of that is how much more we come to know ourselves. The better we understand who we are, the more we start to notice how different we might be from others. It can feel good internally-those differences make us feel unique, even special. But at the same time, it can create a gap between us and other people, making it harder to find common ground. When it comes to building friendships, maybe we’re focusing on the wrong things. We often look for small, relatable details-like having the same taste in music or liking the same celebrities. But instead of zeroing in on those specifics, what if we zoomed out and looked at the bigger picture? What do they want out of life? How do they see the world? What kind of person do they aspire to be? Those are the kinds of connections that go deeper and can help us form relationships that really matter.
Why did I get an AI-Generated Video Summary under the description??? "The speaker reflects on the feeling of loneliness, comparing it to a butterfly that chases them despite their efforts to find happiness. They discuss the challenges of making friends as an adult and the feeling of being an outsider. The speaker also expresses gratitude for the good things in their life, despite their feelings of loneliness."
It's a bit crazy that this showed up on my algorithm but, that's cool. 🤷♂ There's nothing wrong with appreciating solitude! Those freedoms are super cool. But yeah, you should totally try approaching some of those groups and starting some small talk. You miss all the shots you don't take! Plus, you may find out you have similar interests, and that would be pretty cool. Try getting some frames for your posters! That's what I do to cover my walls and it's pretty cheap if you find the right ones, plus it looks clean! Don't forget about canvas art and flags too! Those don't need any tape, glue or frames. 😁 Good luck!

The older you get the more you have to put effort into not being lonely. At least for some. Thanks for sharing

5:02 I feel like if you didn’t think like this you would have more success. If you feel this way towards other people maybe that’s why.

I clicked on this video thinking it was a song and started scrolling on social media. Only realized at the 5 minute mark it wasn't.
