I love me some George Formby, in fact I even started to listen to his Dad's recordings once that I found out he was a performer as well. Visiting graves is a lot of fun, I have filmed a few over here in New York, but I am mostly waiting to go back home to Swindon to film the local graveyards there. Hopefully this year I can go. I look forward to seeing your other grave trips.
Nice work! A beautiful cemetery, and one with a best kept 'Greenflag Award'.
Thanks 👍😎 It really is a nice place.
Now that's what I call a headstone, very fitting for a legend like George. And lovely to see it kept looking good .
Very informative thank you Grave Interest
Thanks for your video, nice to see that George is with his Mum and Dad, it turned out nice again, 👍👍.

George and his parents had a wonderful memorial stone.
Great work,a bit of trivia the back cover of Morrissey's first solo album viva hate is the sky above George's grave ..

Thanks for watching & commenting Richard, I will be doing more soon 👍😎
Such a shame he had a short life. Always seemed like a nice bloke
I've seen the house where George Formby junior lived with his wife in st Anne's.
George is always credited with playing the ukelele but we only see him mostly playing the banjo or the banjolele
I liked george very funny guy
He was bossed around by his wife. She was a gold digger. He brought in the money. She spent it.
