STORY DETAILS:
After creating the heavens, the earth, and the seas, God created humans to govern the world. While they possess the wisdom of God, they were physically outmatched by the wild beasts, so much that they came close to extinction many times. Concerned for their future, God gave the humans a potent aide known as the Seru.
All throughout history, Seru have existed symbiotically with humans, helping them survive. These benevolent creatures, when worn by a human, gives them special abilities such as extraordinary strength and the ability of flight.
One day, a mysterious gas called the Mist appeared out of nowhere. The gas, which corrupts the Seru to become berserk, spread rapidly throughout the world. The Seru which were exposed to the gas began attacking humans, attaching themselves to humans and turning them into violent beasts.
Human civilization began collapsing, while those who managed to escape the onslaught hid in isolated areas and behind high walls, with their faint hope their only source of inspiration.
The tiny village of Rim Elm in Drake Kingdom's southern coast holds a small number of people that have managed to protect themselves from the Mist due to an immense wall. A young boy named Vahn becomes of age to finally join hunting trips outside the wall.

One of the first games i ever got for the playstation when i was young. I remember we couldn't afford a memory card so i couldn't save the game for the longest time. I just kept replaying up to the first boss over and over until i finally got that elusive memory card.
man if i could go back in time, i would find you... and give you TWO fucking memory cards because i had 4.
I remember being able to play ps1 games on the Ps2 but the Ps2 memor card wudnt work had to have a ps1 memory card😂 took me awhile to get one
That was me but with ff7. It was a year u til we got a memory card. I think this was the second rpg I ever played for the ps1. Such good memories

I played and finished this game when it was released. I liked it better than FF7. I’d love to play it again, but my age is not going to let me finish it again.
I wish they'd put it on steam, I'd buy it at it's original retail price.
1. Level up both characters and Magic a lot.
2. Use free HP/MP recovery.
3. Don't buy anything until after 2nd Genesis Tree awakens. Get the free healing stuffs, nail gloves, fists and others.
4. You can lv8 Gimard before reaching Caruban. By that time you're over leveled.

Got my sub! I am stuck in quarantine with Covid so watching this epic game play will ease the process. Much obliged for the 100% play through and allowing all the dialogue to be seen at a wonderful pace!

I remember this game a long time ago. I absolutely loved it and still do. Wish theyll bring this back. I know you can get itvthrough emulator, but still. Theres old games coming back anyway on ps5 and ps4.

I never knew how to actually capture a Seru... I just always went Ra Ra Ra Ra when I thought the final sequence was coming up, never seemed to consistently work though

My first console was a playstation 2.
It was a bit more expensive than i thought it was, so i couldn't afford any of the "good" games (expensive ones)
So i had to rifle through a bunch of random cheap games they had on the side and i found Legaia 2.
Didn't really have any expectations but it was the game with the coolest looking cover and i figured it was better than no game at all.
I invited a friend over and we played that game for hours and REALLY enjoyed it.
Unfortunately i still haven't played the first game and probably never will unless i get's remade, which will most likely never happen :(
I remember playing this demo over and over and over again for like a year until I saved up money to buy it and I still remember the music and conversations like it was yesterday. 🥹 There was a little music in Baldurs Gate 3 that made me think of this game and I couldn’t for the life of me remember the name. It was a deep dive down the internet but now I’m here ❤
