This is packed full of great learning but Ghanaians speak at lightning speed! They can say 15 words in two seconds! 😆
😂 exactly how we perceive you Americans when you speak English. Wallace, ɛte sɛn?
@@learnakan LOL! Bebree ɔyɛ pɛpɛɛpɛ. Does that make any sense? Or maybe, Bebree deɛ ɔyɛ pɛpɛɛpɛ. (?) Nso me ho yɛ pa oooo

15:54 - Mistake (mfomsoo)
Gye Nyame.
The word Gye in this context should meean 'Accept'
not EXcept
People often confuse the 2 words as they have very similar pronunciations
no please, there's no confusion there. What is meant there is actually "except", not "accept". It's from "aGYE sɛ", which can mean "unless/except", not your regular "gye". Please watch that part and see what we actually mean.
Ah Yaw medase this is by far the best learning expierience i had online we need more episodes of this series wae ?

Thank you! Will do!
Great video!
When he says "Ɛyɛ me maame nua bi na (w)awuo na yɛatwa ntoma".. what does the "bi" mean/ what purpose does it have in this sentence? Would the sentence still work if it was not there?
Hey Patrick, please see lesson 07 under the grammar module on the website.

Braa Yaw thank you for the good work.
My question is in twi hw3 which positive (look) and the negative form is nhw3( don't look). But I'm told this menhw3 is positive ( I look) but I thought is I don't look.
Please if you can do a lesson on that for us.
Eg . Is it monnhw3 or monhw3
Mennidi or mennnidi etc. Thank you takyi yaw
Hi Samuel, I cannot explain it all here but, first, the negative is "nhwɛ", just as you stated, but it's "to not look", not "don't look". "Don't look" is the imperative (an instruction). That distinction is important for the Twi versions. We'll be looking at negation and imperatives very soon, as soon as we are done with the tense series. We'll address all your concerns in those. Medaase
@@learnakan Thank you for your response. I will be glad to see that . God bless you and good work you are doing for us. Thank you very much
