To be honest, D.O. sings more than just those minutes coz he sings most of the chorus too (Baek just harmonizes at the ends of phrases). The same is true for History.
In the EXO-K AND EXO-M days the main vocalists were Chen, D.O., Baekhyun and the 1st lead (idk why he just wasn't a main vocal but sm does what they do) vocalist was Luhan. That was the vocal line. Now for OT9 it's D.O., Chen and Baekhyun. I think during the OT12 days Chen was 1st main and now OT9 days D.O. is 1st main. Either way the vocal line is strong and Suho and Xiumin are on the vocal come up.

The gap between Baek/D.O and Suho is pretty big when it comes to vocal techniques though, so even if he is a lead vocalist he is still far behind them.

They also use D.O voice to harmonize in every exok songs... If you don't believe me... Go and listen to any Korean version songs (playboy, hurt, don't go, my lady, etc) and compare with Chinese version... You'll hear his voice is being used as leading vocal at the chorus. In Chinese version there's no his voice cause they harmonize all the exo m members voice equally the same. Why? Because he's born with sweet voice. No one can argue with that.
