I always wondered, what is the point of attacking with a rear-guard, then vanguard, then another rear-guard? Unless you have Stand triggers, wouldn’t it be better to attack with your vanguard first?
Well now we use front triggers so most cardfighters will start with Vanguard attacks. Plus if i'm not wrong, you cannot stand your Vanguard with your stand trigger, it is badically cheating cos you will get 4 drive checks

It's how Vanguard goes and is described about at its core.

Kanzaki is a lot stricter than Ren so it definitely makes sense that they go to Kanzaki while he is also trying to improve his skills as well.

Some use vanguard first

Make your opponent burn cards to guard. Also, helhiem would've replaced the already attacked units
