Playoff Teams Rebuilding Challenge (not including the play-in teams) You must trade for a player from all of the following teams that fill the requirements. DO NOT DO A FANTASY DRAFT. Randomly select your team, but it must be one of the teams below, so if you dont get it your first time, then keep doing it until you do get one of them. East: Nets- Are arguably a super team. Get one of the big 3 on your team. Sixers- A very post-centric, tall team. Get one player that is EITHER 6’10+ in height, or get a player that has a 75+ post fade in 2k. Bucks- We all know the starting 5, but what about the bench? Get one player off of the bucks bench to play for your team. Knicks- Wait, the knicks are the 4 seed!? Get a player from the knicks that, according to 2k, is an 80+ overall player. Hawks- Got some solid big men. Get a player from the hawks that averages 5+ rebounds per game. Celtics- The celts are HOT right now! Get a player from the celtics that is averaging at least 10+ ppg West: Jazz- We know their big 2, but who else is there? Get literally any player from the jazz that isnt Rudy Gobert or Donovan Mitchell. Suns- Can they slip into the #1 spot in the west? Get a player that, according to 2k, is 83+ ovr. Kenny you like badges? Challenge. Start with a fantasy draft. Now you have to find 12 players and each player has to fit 1 of these badge ranges: 0-5 badges, 6-10 badges, 11-15 badges. Do this for all 4 badge types (shooting, finishing, playmaking, and defense/rebounding) If a player fits multiple ranges, pick only 1 for that player to fulfill. Also, if a player has 16+ badges in a category, (Ex. Giannis Def/Reb) you can't use him for that category. All 12 guys must get minutes and you gotta win the championship! Good luck!
Clone Wars Challenge: create a team of all KDs, all Lebrons, all Kawhis. For example 5 KDS vs 5 Lebrons. Do this for the top 15-20 players. Current stats and you can include inured players like Murray and Klay if you like. Sim for 3 seasons (or more) and see who has the best team stats, regular season record, playoff stats. Also, before the challenge predict who will have the top defense, offense, top seed, conference champs, nba champ.
Day 6 of asking: The 2-Way team: 1.everybody on your team has to have a 85+ interior or perimeter defense 2.all your starters have to be a 80+ overall 3.they all have to have averaged 1.5 steals or blocks (except rookies) 4.they all have had to be on a defensive team once (again except rookies) 5.your team has to have the least amount of points allowed by the end of the season 6.they must have 75+ steal or block 7. Do the "All Overall Challenge" You have to have a 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89 overall players on your team. And so it would be a 9 man rotation. And win the championship. Try to do this in 1 season. In your second season you have to have a 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99 overall players on your team. So that would be a 9 man rotation. And win the championship. Try to do this in 1 season. I know this will be hard but if anybody can do it, it would be you. Hope you enjoy!!

Challenge idea: Upping the ante This challenge is all about the regular season. Randomly choose a team to rebuild. You have to win at least 50 games in your first season. Then, for every season after that, you have to win more games than you did previously. If you can do this for 5 straight seasons, you win the challenge, but you can keep going if you want. You are not allowed to intentionally lose games.

(For Xbox One) When you're on the roster, hit start and that will allow you to edit players. -Then scroll to the right at the first adjustable attribute and hit "A" to select all players for that particular attribute. Then use RS up or down to increase/decrease attributes. -You can hit A again to select all stats for a single player, then RS up or down. You can hit Y to edit/mass adjust tendencies Y again to edit badges And Y again to edit personal/jersey number/injury info!

For example: let's say I land on a 1, all the players on my roster have to #1 picks in the first round or the second round of the draft, this will be current. You can trade and sign players in this challenge. After the draft lottery but before the draft, you must trade up for whatever number pick you landed on with the wheel. If you do not win a championship one year, you must spin for a new number and reset your roster for the next year. This is call the Free Agent Challenge: Your starting 5 must all be players signed out of free agency after a fantasy draft. You then build your bench around that starting 5. You must win a championship, 6MOTY, 55+ games, and at least one of your starters has to be averaging 10+ PPG. I tried it and did it, let’s see if you can too!

Third video I've pitched this challenge. The "In House" challenge. The point of the challenge is to grow your roster in house and get you to use the Team/Player training slider in your longer rebuilds (it helps). Start in the off season build your roster with all the drafts and trades you want but once the season starts you have to let the cpu take over for trades and signings. You can only set the player/team trainings and the team rotation/gameplan/playstyle from then on (Keep all teams changes In House) and see how many chips you can win over 10-15 years (Kinda like a team Career sim). We love longer video. I've tested this a bunch and I recommend you play with Realistic sliders so everyone isn't chasing a bag in the off season and the cpu usually doesn't do crazy trades for your stars. And to make it easier (if you want) you can either trade for or sign 1 90+ player every 3rd offseason if things don't work the first 2 season with the team you built.

You do an extremely hard 50 point quiz and whatever percent you get is the highest overall your allude to have. Example if you get a 87% your highest overall has to be an 87. When you do a fantasy draft if you get a higher overall you have to release them into free agency. Like so Kenny can see

Fantasy draft of course
Spin a wheel of years from the last draft to around 2003-2004
Random number generate what round and pick and that person goes on your team(if it’s someone not in the league got the person drafted closest to them that’s still in the league)
Rebuild the team and win the chip
Champions Rebuild
-This rebuild will occur over over 6 years
-Sim through a fantasy draft to make the teams split up
-To start you will have to spin a wheel of NBA teams to see your first team
-Now that you have you team you will have 2 years to get that team a ring however your team needs to meet these requirements...
-You will run a 10 man rotation
-Starting 5 has to be all players that have been to the NBA finals before
-Your bench had to at least make the NBA playoffs before
-After the 2 years is up you will have to spin the wheel again and do the same with a different team
-Out of the 3 teams you will rebuild during this challenge in order to beat the challenge you have to spin win a championship with 2/3 teams

Playoff Teams Rebuilding Challenge (not including the play-in teams)
You must trade for a player from all of the following teams that fill the requirements.
DO NOT DO A FANTASY DRAFT.
Randomly select your team, but it must be one of the teams below, so if you dont get it your first time, then keep doing it until you do get one of them.
East:
Nets- Are arguably a super team. Get one of the big 3 on your team.
Sixers- A very post-centric, tall team. Get one player that is EITHER 6’10+ in height, or get a player that has a 75+ post fade in 2k.
Bucks- We all know the starting 5, but what about the bench? Get one player off of the bucks bench to play for your team.
Knicks- Wait, the knicks are the 4 seed!? Get a player from the knicks that, according to 2k, is an 80+ overall player.
Hawks- Got some solid big men. Get a player from the hawks that averages 5+ rebounds per game.
Celtics- The celts are HOT right now! Get a player from the celtics that is averaging at least 10+ ppg
West:
Jazz- We know their big 2, but who else is there? Get literally any player from the jazz that isnt Rudy Gobert or Donovan Mitchell.
Suns- Can they slip into the #1 spot in the west? Get a player that, according to 2k, is 83+ ovr.
Nuggets- When they picked up Aaron Gordon, they arguably got a big 4 (murry, jokic, porter jr, and gordon). Get one of those players on your team.
Lakers- The lakers have held themselves up, even with Bron and AD out. Get a player that was starting for the lakers since theyve been out (cannot use montrez harrell, but can use andre drummond).
Blazers- The blazers have been hindered by their injuries this season. Pick a player from the blazers that has been injured for at least a month.
For the final 2-3 players, you can make them be anyone from any of the play-in tournament teams (heat, hornets, pacers, wizards, mavs, grizzlies, spurs, and warriors).
The goal is to beat the 73-9 record AND win the championship

Kenny you like badges? Challenge. Start with a fantasy draft. Now you have to find 12 players and each player has to fit 1 of these badge ranges: 0-5 badges, 6-10 badges, 11-15 badges. Do this for all 4 badge types (shooting, finishing, playmaking, and defense/rebounding) If a player fits multiple ranges, pick only 1 for that player to fulfill. Also, if a player has 16+ badges in a category, (Ex. Giannis Def/Reb) you can't use him for that category. All 12 guys must get minutes and you gotta win the championship! Good luck!

Clone Wars Challenge: create a team of all KDs, all Lebrons, all Kawhis. For example 5 KDS vs 5 Lebrons. Do this for the top 15-20 players. Current stats and you can include inured players like Murray and Klay if you like. Sim for 3 seasons (or more) and see who has the best team stats, regular season record, playoff stats. Also, before the challenge predict who will have the top defense, offense, top seed, conference champs, nba champ.

6.they must have 75+ steal or block
7. Your Head coach must have a A- or better defense

Do the "All Overall Challenge"
You have to have a 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89 overall players on your team. And so it would be a 9 man rotation. And win the championship. Try to do this in 1 season.
In your second season you have to have a 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99 overall players on your team. So that would be a 9 man rotation. And win the championship. Try to do this in 1 season.
I know this will be hard but if anybody can do it, it would be you.

Day 1 of asking Kenny to do the “Small Ball” rebuilding challenge
Rule 1: every player that you have on your team has to be 2 inches under position average. For example the position average for a center is 6’11 so you need a player that is 6’9 or below like Bam Adebayo or Montrezl Harrell.
Rule 2: On your team all your players have to be there natural position, for example you can’t make Jrue Holiday a shooting guard because he is only 6’3
Bonus rule: have at least 3 players on your team under 6 feet.

Day three of asking Kenny. The HARDEST REBUILDING CHALLENGE! The sim AND trade difficulty will be all the way up to 100. Your team will start with 40 overall Andre Levington on MAX contracts. You have to try to become the one seed with 65 PLUS wins, and get a three peat. Bonus challenge: ( you don't have to do it) Go 82-0, every time you don't win a championship you have to COMPLETELY restart. Good luck and have fun :)

Best years to start a “modern” sim if you’re super particular about certain guys being on their irl teams with at least a fraction of what they would accomplish: 1981-82, 1984-85, 1987-88, 1993-94, 1996-97, 2006-07, 2010-11.

Muggsy honestly doesn’t get the credit he deserves, a dude his size shouldn’t even be thinking about the NBA, but he thought about it, made it, and spent years being a productive member of it, all while being a top tier playmaker throughout most of his career, phenomenal.
Challenge idea: Upping the ante
This challenge is all about the regular season. Randomly choose a team to rebuild. You have to win at least 50 games in your first season. Then, for every season after that, you have to win more games than you did previously. If you can do this for 5 straight seasons, you win the challenge, but you can keep going if you want. You are not allowed to intentionally lose games.
You should continue this series I love watching 90s basketball in 2K since I’m not old enough to have seen 90s basketball
Kevin Johnson getting a game winning block in game 6 in the finals was the exact opposite of what happened IRL back in 1993 in game 6.

When you're on the roster, hit start and that will allow you to edit players.
-Then scroll to the right at the first adjustable attribute and hit "A" to select all players for that particular attribute. Then use RS up or down to increase/decrease attributes.
-You can hit A again to select all stats for a single player, then RS up or down.
You can hit Y to edit/mass adjust tendencies
Y again to edit badges
And Y again to edit personal/jersey number/injury info!
This does apply for the "All Players" tab as well

Day 1 of asking Kenny to do the "Draft Stock Pick" challenge
Rules:
Simulate 5 years
Auto simulate the fantasy draft
Run a 15 man rotation
Spin a wheel every time you start a new year that has the numbers 1-30 and undrafted. Whatever option you land on, that is the draft pick all the players on your roster have to be. For example: let's say I land on a 1, all the players on my roster have to #1 picks in the first round or the second round of the draft, this will be current. You can trade and sign players in this challenge.
After the draft lottery but before the draft, you must trade up for whatever number pick you landed on with the wheel.
If you do not win a championship one year, you must spin for a new number and reset your roster for the next year. If you do not If you do not win a championship by year 5, you have failed the challenge.

This is call the Free Agent Challenge: Your starting 5 must all be players signed out of free agency after a fantasy draft. You then build your bench around that starting 5. You must win a championship, 6MOTY, 55+ games, and at least one of your starters has to be averaging 10+ PPG. I tried it and did it, let’s see if you can too!
This brought back some bad memories! I was at game 6 of the finals where Paxson hit that dagger three against my Suns to win the championship. Heartbreaker!

Run a nine-man rotation and only these player can get minutes
One player can only fit one
1] Star: Every team needs a star, get a 92 or higher overall with a shot tendency of over 90
2] Secondary option: To win a championship you need a good second option, Trade for an 87 or higher overall with a shot tendency of over 85
3] Perimeter Defender: Every team need a perimeter clamper, Get a player with an A- or higher perimeter defence
4] Paint Defender: Every team needs a paint defender [Except the Blazers this season], Get a player with an A- or higher Paint defence
5] Flamethrower: Every team needs a three-point sniper, Get a player with an A or better 3 point shot
6] Sixth man: Every team needs a good sixth man, [This player must be your sixth man] Get someone whos coming off the bench this year and is avereging 15 or more points or trade for Lou Williams

Third video I've pitched this challenge. The "In House" challenge. The point of the challenge is to grow your roster in house and get you to use the Team/Player training slider in your longer rebuilds (it helps). Start in the off season build your roster with all the drafts and trades you want but once the season starts you have to let the cpu take over for trades and signings. You can only set the player/team trainings and the team rotation/gameplan/playstyle from then on (Keep all teams changes In House) and see how many chips you can win over 10-15 years (Kinda like a team Career sim). We love longer video. I've tested this a bunch and I recommend you play with Realistic sliders so everyone isn't chasing a bag in the off season and the cpu usually doesn't do crazy trades for your stars. And to make it easier (if you want) you can either trade for or sign 1 90+ player every 3rd offseason if things don't work the first 2 season with the team you built.

-central midfielder: brains of the team and the most reliable playmaker: 84+ pass accuracy, 81+ ball handle
-attacking midfielder: offensively minded distributer: needs a player with 90+ pass vision and 83+ three-point shot
-winger: explosive, dynamic versatile threat: 85+ vertical, 78+ driving tendency
-central forward: interior offensive player who focuses on playing back-to basket: requires a player with 89+ post control, 92+ strength
-striker: player who focuses exclusively on scoring, least skilled position: 93+ shot tendency, 83+ shot IQ
-joker (not related with nicknames or a person): bench option who can change the outcome late in the game: player with a gold clutch shooter badge and 67+ iso vs elite defender tendency
