I am so happy to see a true junk journal being made! I love that you have kept away from kits, purchased ephemera, and fancy papers and taken us back to our true roots of binding junk into something beautiful. For me, there is where the magic lies. Thank you!
Thank you so much for watching and commenting. I’ve always enjoyed recycling/ upcycling papers etc that might otherwise have to go into the recycling bin and giving them a different life. And it’s to try and use at least some of my handmade collage papers in this way as well. Thanks again 💗
It's so nice to see a project that doesn't involve using a dozen supplies that I don't own. I haven't discarded any junk mail lately so I'm sure I'll have plenty to chose from. 😄 Looking forward to seeing what you do with this journal.
Thanks for your comment. Although I love to use a variety of supplies I also like to keep it simple. I believe that art should be accessible for all and therefore like to do some projects that even with only a few supplies people can do it as well. I do also try and suggest alternatives to some supplies. Thanks for watching and commenting 😊
It's always a treat to get to watch you first thing in the morning with my coffee. Fabulous super junky art Journal. The cover is so super! I look forward to seeing more. ❤❤❤xo
I love this little journal! The colors are perfect. I really like watching your videos. I have been so inspired by your techniques. Thank you for sharing your time with us!🌹🦋
Dear Kylie - love your scrappy junky art journal! I enjoyed watching you sort and arrange the papers for the signature too! I especially like the way you decorated the cover! I’m off to have a rummage in my stash now! Until next time!💖
Great job, Kylie. I love how quick this was. I like how she is peeking out too, she looks like she's keeping secrets. I have loads of stash saved up to make a junk art journal, this was very inspiring. Thanks so much for sharing.
This is why I love watching you create. You have a talent that flows along so smoothly and artistically and you invent as you go and then voila there appears an innovative piece of artwork. It's a pleasure to observe how it happens and oh so inspiring for me. Thanks for sharing your creative times. 🤗
Hi Kimerly- I’m glad this video was helpful for you. In the description box to it or on the playlists tab on my channel you will find a playlist of no-sew journals. This has different styles and sizes - so if you are looking for more ideas check the playlist out. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment 😊
Loved this quick journal-it’s always nice to have something we can accomplish in one sitting! I think the collage on the front turned out great; I like her peeking out from under the layers too !
Fabulous journal Kylie!! I truly enjoyed watching the whole process!! So thanks for sharing!!! Hope you are having a great weekend! Stay safe and healthy!! 🥰🤗
Thank you so much Evy. Thankfully my brain kicked in just before I punched all the papers otherwise they might have been a bit askew - I was sure I could actually hear my brain whirring 😂💗
Love this! It's amazing and so quick to create! So enjoyed watching the whole process of putting it together and getting inspiration! Thank you so much for sharing, take care and have a wonderful weekend x
love this Kylie - i really love it - junk journals are so much fun to make and even more fun to create in - i truly love how you put yours together and your cover came out beautiful - watched you twice already lol - inspiring tutorial - thank you xx
Oh, Kylie! I love this journal! I especially love the cover! I can't wait to see if I can make one, too! I had the perfect Amazon box I was saving for just this reason. Hope it didn't get recycled, when I did my big destash in June. TFS. 🥰🙏
Thank you so much Evelyn I’ll send you a box if you need one 😂- I’m terrible I just won’t let boxes go willingly though I did get rid of a number of cereal boxes a few weeks ago 😃xo
@@KylieCooStudio I had a storage bin filled with boxes, cardboard, cereal boxes and lots of that sort of thing. In other words anything with possbility and another filled with plain fronted brown shopping bags. I emptied both out. I stenciled Christmas scenes on thirty of the bags for gift giving. I the donated the rest to the recycling center. I think I saved some more interesting items. I can only hope. I just had way too much stuff!!! LOL. I appreciate the offer, but believe me I can get something from my kids. They get boxes in the mail all the time. I don't do any online shopping, so most of what I had I took from them. LOL
