CONSTITUTIONAL RACISM BEHIND MALAYSIA'S SWEET FACE

Malaysia's achievements in attracting foreign tourists are indeed commendable, beating all other countries in Southeast Asia. Intense promotions and massive campaigns carrying the theme of harmonizing multiculturalism in the last two decades have succeeded in building an image and claim to uniqueness, diversity and demographic harmony.
Of course, the world community was very shocked when in September 2022, Malaysia was named the second most racist country in the world in the official results of a racial discrimination survey conducted by the Index Mundi institution. They became curious because the information they had received about Malaysia presented more of the opposite.
Indeed, in the current era of information disruption, rhetoric is often inversely proportional to reality. Malaysia's sweet face that appears in various tourism promotional advertisements has deceived the world. The thick make-up of the slogans Trully Malaysia and One Malaysia succeeded in manipulating and covering up facts which were actually the opposite.
The strong reaction to rejecting the survey results is just an apologetic defense of the dominant party who actually benefits. The superior group has passed it down between generations, so that the last generation, young Malays today, consider racism to be a normal attitude, a normal and not reprehensible action.
Racism in Malaysia is not a problem that is always seen and felt to exist, considering that it is already deeply rooted in society and embedded in government politics. When the Malay peninsula was granted independence by Britain in August 1957, the Malay ethnic group insisted on maintaining the social structure inherited from the colonial era.
To ensure its continuity, they included and stipulated it in the state constitution, article 153 of the Malaysian Constitution. The 10 paragraphs of this article provide the legal basis for ethnic Malays to be racist and discriminatory towards other ethnic groups, even without limits or time.
False national independence denies complete equality and human rights.

Jumlah wisatawan asing Malaysia sangat tinggi dalam 2 tahun terakhir sebenarnya adalah sekedar angka saja. Lebih dari 2,5 juta dari jumlah wisatawan itu berasal dari Bangladesh, mereka menggunakan visa turis untuk bekerja di Malaysia. Faktanya kebanyakan yang memakai visa turis Malaysia bukanlah turis sesungguhnya. 😂😂

Mengapa harus bertahan jika sudah tidak nyaman? Berpisah karena tidak beroleh keadilan bisa membangkitkan harapan dan menciptakan jalan. Singapura telah buktikan, jalan itu telah membuatnya mapan dan penuh harapan.

Saat anda berada di lingkungan atau komunitas Malaysia agak lama, baru anda akan kaget. Ternyata sebegitu jumawanya mereka punya ras dan raja. Sedemikian bencinya mereka pada kaum Cina dan India. Ah.. tidak nyaman berdekatan lama dengan mereka.
