I wouldn't leave any sm children w/anyone that thinks it's ok for the dog to be growling @ this baby while guarding said childs shoe. Territorial animals will bite. Our own dog use to snap @ & bite my husband. He would be playing like he was going to get the kids & she,(mini dachshund) stood her ground protecting them.😂

En una ocacion mi nieta pequeñita de 2 años quiso quitarle un jugete al perrito de años de la otra abuela y la ataco dejandole gran herida y cicatriz en la cara a mi nietecita, el perrito nunca avía sido agresivo. This dog had ample opportunity to bite and chose to lick her hand instead if you were paying attention. The tail was wagging and the baby kissed him gently. He kissed her back. There was never any danger. My dog (a black Lab) used to play growl like this. She was a good actress for sure. I could literally put my hand on her bone and not get anything but growls. Tail is key. She moves slow and she outfoxed him. He really wanted her to throw the shoe again so they could play chase.

This dog is playing. I play with my Pomeranian/Chihuahua the same way. If this dog was going to be aggressive it surely had multiple opportunities with the child being nose to nose. I agree that this probably wouldn't be smart or responsible with an unknown dog, but the parents clearly know that this one is safe.

This dog is playing. I play with my Pomeranian/Chihuahua the same way. If this dog was going to be aggressive it surely had multiple opportunities with the child being nose to nose. I agree that this probably wouldn't be smart or responsible with an unknown dog, but the parents clearly know that this one is safe.
