Seen this before but the couple are so sweet, I will happily watch it again.
Did they buy it??? I feel like I've watched a film and the conclusion left me hanging!!
Yes!
Yes, the couple in episode 39 of season 18 of Escape to the Country bought the Somerset property. The episode is titled "Somerset" and is about Nicki Chapman shopping for country properties in Somerset with a couple who want to invest £425,000 in a rural retreat. The property is a charming grade two listed cottage with period features, a large garden, and views of the countryside. It's located on the outskirts of a village and is a 15-minute drive from the couple's current tennis club.
@@jstokes Fantastic! So delighted that the lovely couple finally got their dream home :)

I’m watching this episode again apparently. First house: when she said master bedroom I had to gasp. It was too small for one person, not sure how two could manage.
Did they purchase it?
When the show ended, that was also my first thought 🤔. yes or no?
So bloody annoying they don't tell us what happens.
Right! We need to know!!
There are several outcomes: 1. The seller realized the price was too low and raised it above the buyer's limit. 2. Something happened in buyers' lives/relationship. 3. Second viewing of the house revealed a significant flaw, which buyers refused to accept. 4. They did purchase the house, but after the episode was finalised. 5. More options?

from unexperienced people and no sense
Such a beautiful episode. I also had tears in my eyes at the end to see this lovely couple finally finding the perfect property for them. They were all lovely houses, but the garden of the mystery property really clinched it.
Something about this couple that's really endearing Im addicted to this show but I love this couple for some reason. I sense she is a geordie
I hope the sweet couple was able to buy the home they loved. Maybe you can make a program and visit the couple if they bought the homes.
I enjoyed this episode. I love flying, and that made it more interesting. This couple was lovely. The first house although nice, was a doll house. Only Ken and Barbie (dolls) could fit in those 3 bedrooms. All the homes were pretty, but…The 3rd house by far was the best. The master bedroom was very sufficient in size. The kitchen was fantastic. The price surprising. Again, what a nice couple.
I have a feeling, they bought the mystery house. Love it❤
A lovely couple.
Loved that last house too , suck enchanting properties ..hope they managed to get their dream house .
What an adorable couple. Beautiful, perfect mystery house ❤
So happy that they were able to find their new home!
To Escape to The Country. I have been to England 4 times, I am from Southern California. I have also been to the Country side, so I appreciate these shows. These episodes relax me, while I have my breakfast and when I bake ( I bake 3 times a week to give to friends ).
I do not have Cable or Antena for my Television, I stream the episodes from my cellphone or tablet devices via Cromcast to my television. Thank you.
watched this one ages ago... still so lovely : )
What a lovely, lovely couple! I so hope they bought the mystery house! 💕

Thank you, but how do you know this?
@@lzrd8460 I did a google search, and this came up.
I'm so happy for them! It's 2024 (some seven years since this was filmed) and oh, how I hope that they have the property and have had blessed, healthy, happy lives in their lovely home.
I loved it with Nikki got into the airplane and he asked her how she's doing she goes oh I think I have butterflies😂 what a perfect discription! This was really a wonderful episode!!
Handsome couple
so brave of you to go flying Nicki !
I would love the opportunity to do this!!!
" in my beginning is my end, and in my end is my beginning"
It can be interpretedlike this:; This world is the start of my life, and also where my life ends, and when I depart from this world is when my next generation begins
The author must have meant that his journey through life is like a circle, of which the staring point is also the ending point,
Y.S. Eliot became a Christian. So his “end” was his salvation experience, his surrender to and acceptance of Jesus Christ as his Savior and as Lord of his life. So that was the end of his living for himself. That also marked his new beginning of his new life in Christ Jesus, full of new discoveries about the Lord and about himself experiencing the change and joy that Jesus gives. Elliot is a great poet.
T.S. Elliot, sorry.
Elliot beautifully expressed the new experience as a believer in Jesus.
I just can’t bear it when such a lovely couple fall in love with such a marvelous house…and we are left not knowing if they bought the house or not! 😔😔😔😔😔😔😔
😊😊wow that flying experience was amazing..love it❤
What the heck is an invigilator? Did I even spell that correctly?
House #1 is beautiful...downstairs. Upstairs, not so much.
House #2 is pretty.
Mystery House - I'd buy it in a heartbeat! It's really impressive.
An invigilator supervises students taking their exams.
😊😊
all amazing❤❤
What does "character" mean? In every episode, the buyers always say, "I want a bit of character". But, there seems to be no uniformity to what a buyer considers "character". Is this a British thing?
It means old and historical
You said it lol each to their own
Really wish for more inside/outside property views for recall purposes by the end. Interest stories tucked within the show can stand to be shortened.
What a beautiful mystery home! Hope this lovely couple were able to secure it for themselves.
