RM and Yoongi-biased. 😊 There’s a lot to catch up on, and I think you’re doing a great job exploring. Another efficient guide I would suggest to baby ARMYs first is Rice Squad’s The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: A Story of BTS (2023 Update). It covers some similar info about the members, but also tells the chronological story of the artistic evolution and meteoric rise of the group in an engaging and efficient way. I’m sure you’ve heard that the Rise of Bangtan series is the gold standard, but it’s obviously a commitment, especially if you also watch the deleted scenes and bonus content. Still highly recommended at least on your own time because it’s still an edit of the huge amount of content they actually have. It’s amazingly well-done (though it loses steam as it goes on IMO) and a must. One of my other favorite ways to get to know them that’s current is Suga’s Suchwita episode interviews with the members and key adjacent players I can list if you get into that. If you watch those, I’d recommend watching them after having explored a member’s pre-enlistment official solo content, as Suchwita is partly a promotion vehicle for Chapter 2.

A small company is a total of only 20 employees. Korean ages until last year used to be measured as 1 year old at birth then everybody born in that year is one year older on the lunar New Year. So it is possible to be a couple of months old in the US and 2 years old in Korea. So JK was 13 at audition and turning 14 as he left his parents to go to Seoul to live with BTS. Since they had hardly time off BTS really did raise him. He was the spoiled baby. Jin even made his pack up and took him to and from school. I watched an interview with a women and at one point in the interview they said and you once worked with BTS. she must have been some part of the early selection process. She said one interesting story that is not known is about V. We saw him and my colleague pointed him out and said hes going to be the most handsome. He explained hes just coming out of puberty his shoulders will broaden and his face ill become broader and his nose will fit his face better. His bone structure is really good. Later he predicted he would become the most handsome in the group. You could tell she had found it difficult to believe at the time but was now amazed how right he was.
Spoilt teenager /youth not a baby he was well past the baby stage he was nearly 14years old. I do hate it when people treat them like babies still in nappies/diapers for Americans it's so disrespectful.

There is only about a year between him and V and Junkook and V were equally as bady behaved( in a raucous way) but V would get badly scolded Jungkook used to brag that he never got scolded. Both Suga and Jin say they raised him. Yes people forget they are not still those young highschoolers on the clips. That does not take away from the fact he WAS babied. In Suchwita in a recent episode an actress commented that Suga has to be the responsible one in BTS but in their group of friends he is the youngest the baby. Age hierarchy is so ingrained in Korea oldest and baby of a group have specific significance and get treated differently. Youngest are never allowed to pay for meals for instance.

Predebut RM, known under the names Runch Randa, Largo, Stealo, and the Nexist in the underground hiphop community was already a prodigy in rap despite being 13years old (he started in the underground scene at 11 years old) impressing other rappers. RunchRanda which basically meant 'I am Runcha', he has said it was inspired by a game character he had at the time. He was known to be so good that even older underground rappers in their 20s and 30s didn't wanna battle against him. 17:00 bts was originally meant to be a rap crew rather than an idol group. there are a handful of rappers that were in the original bts lineup that eventually left. supreme boi was one of these trainees he still makes music with bts to this day
