The scandal of peculiarity is - why did God choose the Jews of all nations to bring salvation to the whole world? ie through his Son, born of a Jewish mother ????? - A race that disowned him ???? But is God now finished with the Jews ? Paul is clear in Romans 3 “ first of all the Jews have been entrusted with the very word of God “ ( the scandal) “ will their unfaithfulness nullify Gods Faithfulness ? “ ……. And the answer to this question ? Paul uses a Greek word which when translated has the same sentiment as Winston Churchill - NEVER! Or in modern English “not at all! ”……… but the Greek uses one word when English uses 3?!? NEVER! is more accurate !
