Just flew my 220 for the first time the other day, don't really like the feel of the bar it came with, it's awkward and hard to control. I'm going to get a pair of padded wrist straps instead, it pulls hard but not enough to need the bar and a safely leash.
This is the info I've been looking for! I'm a long-time "anything that flies" nerd but just got my first two line kite this weekend. A synapse 140. Figured it would be good because we had some strong wind. I was right! It was a blast when the wind came up but I can see that it will really fly pretty weak when the wind isn't up. Looking at the tantrum 220 or 250 and likely will use without the bar. I anticipate most of my flying with that kite will be in slower winds.

I know this was posted years ago but I gotta ask. That was the 20 foot tube tail right?
Where can I get that tail? My previous kites came with one but it looks like this tail is an add on.
