- This is the last of the Christmas Life-Sized characters I have here to show for now. I decided that I would make a restoration video on this guy since he was in such poor condition when purchased at goodwill for only $25! As you can clearly see, absolutely NOTHING moved on this in the beginning, but after a couple hours of replacing, soldering, and reattaching it seems to have turned out great. The only thing that is not original to him is the hat, but this will have to do for the mean time. This is the original version of the dancing snowman, which sings five songs with additional phrases included. Hope you guys enjoy the restoration!-The Gemmy Fan

I remember this and the santa would be near the entrance of the garden area at Walmart and i wouldn't want to go anywhere near them.
Hi, first off thanks for your video! I have followed your repair suggestions, all except one. I am confused as to how to hook up a replacement string to the motor that controls the mouth. Mine frayed, like yours, it looks like it may have been some kind of loop arrangement, but I am not sure how it connects to the motor. Does anyone have a shot of the string when it is hooked up to the motor? Thanks in advance, Greg.

XD I have the 2005 4ft dancing santa and my sisters moved it in the night upstairs in the bathtub and I went to the bathroom and I screamed 🤣I got so mad😂
how do you keep the gear tight or replace it on the motor shaft that moves the head? and do you have a right arm bracket where it screws in with 1 screw to the body?

Do you have another part for his right arm? Also I have a spare snowman hat from where my original snowman collapsed in case you still need one.
There is a model with a Santa hat, you could use that until you find the original hat, awesome

Some of these snowman faster like the Santas. But I was wondering. If they dance fast will that break them? Or is it the same if they dance at a normal speed?
what size and kind of string did you use to repair the mouth mechanism?

We have the same dancing snowman, unfortunately this Christmas 2019, it stopped working. It is in great shape, the power just cut off. Do you know where I can get it fixed? Do you still fix them? It is a family favorite! Thanks!
Unfortunately, that sounds like a board problem which is hard to fix unless you know circuitry. I hope you find someone that can help

I have tried for 2 yrs to get my snowman to work, I'm stumped, I ordered adapter after adapter to no avail, I finally found what I thought was the original adapter,KtecKA12D090150015U, INPUT 120V OUTPUT 9V, I plugged it in and the snowman spoke for a moment and stopped, can you help me, do I need another adapter? Or is something wrong inside, maybe just a guess, Please help Me!

What size of adapter did you get for him, I have lost mine, Tried several but none worked.i have bought 7 - 9 volt chargers, none worked I tried 9 volt 1500ma,4 times no luck, I found a 9 volt with a smaller barrel, too lose, what voltage do I need, the 9 volt 1500ma the barrel is too long, 9 volt what wattage??
