Gulda es una maravilla. Con sus años y es joven, alegre, juguetón y sensible. Gracias
Mozart's works for two pianos are must-haves for composers as well as pianists. My favorite recording of them is the Phillips Classics release featuring Ingrid Haebler/Ludwig Hoffman and Jorg Demus/Paul Badura-Skoda. Among the catalogue is the famous and beautiful KV448 in D (Haebler/Hoffman) and Larghetto & Allegro in Eb (Demus/Badura-Skoda). Remember that the fortepiano on which Mozart composed had only 60-some keys. That he was able to space out the parts, hands, fingers and sound, avoiding duplicated and/or conflicting notes, seems almost superhuman considering the constraints of the instrument at that time. In addition to the unparalleled beauty of his melodies and musical phrases in these piano sonatas, his approach to orchestral composing is fully contained in these priceless works.
Thank you.
love it
Wow. Does anyone know if the prelude and Fugue is available in score?
Yes!
Yes, my piano teacher had it and was going to give it to me (or probably a copy) but then he lost it and I never saw it 😞 (It was something like 30 years ago.)
RIP Master chick
