Players sued and won a $1.2 billion (with a B) from the NFL in their concussion lawsuit. The NFL is on notice to reduce concussions and the next lawsuit would be for more $$$$. The NFL isn't handcuffing the defense to please the offense. The NFL's legal liability for concussions has been established in court, so there is no way the NFL can tolerate such dirty and dangerous play. If it continues, a lifetime ban would make senses for the NFL from a legal liability standpoint.

My thing is flagrant fouls are apart of the game. Sometimes an athlete is unintentionally over aggressive and that’s what happened. The QB can drop quickly but if the defender already has his momentum coming hard, locked in, it’s hard to stop.

The defender should be suspended for the Altercation but not to play defense.

Mad dog is right suspend this guy for the year. Also the NFL needs to come down on the Texans for acting like this was the QB's fault for sliding at all. My thing is flagrant fouls are apart of the game. Sometimes an athlete is unintentionally over aggressive and that’s what happened. The QB can drop quickly but if the defender already has his momentum coming hard, locked in, it’s hard to stop.

The defender should be suspended for the Altercation but not to play defense.
