I had a golden jubilee Mamod and it ran terrible so I rebuilt it .the side had fought fire and it ran100mph so I took it apart and spent many hours on it now it looks good and runs perfect .
don't think it would be, seeing as LGB is 45mm, mamods are usually 32mm, and seeing as this guy's converted a 45mm to 32mm before i'd expect this to be 32mm
What sort of sand blasting material did you use on it as doing a powder blue one at minute and not sure what is best to use also were can I find the decals for it it has a white suqar and white mamo d logos in the middle of it
It is very poisonous and dangerous paint to use, only really used in automotive refinishing. You need controlled environments to use it and air fed apparatus and a spray gun, with good knowledge of it too.
the water can't've spilled, the feul might've only usualy when it's started burning it burns stuck to the burner tray how do i know this? i own on of these
Very well executed restoration. Great photography in the video too....I thoroughly enjoyed this clip. 👍🏻🇦🇺

That was really lovely - we are inspired. Great video
A nice video and good choice of music. Well done. 👍👍👍
Tomorrow I shall hopefully be steaming a mamod loco for the first time, any tips or advice?
a very enjoyable video indeed :D
Hi, nice video. Not to make fun but I am glad that it is not just me having accidents.
Haha, its part of the fun and perils....
Nice vid, is that LGB track you're using?

Jolly good old chap love the old girl sorry for the accident on the little bit of trouble
Excellent job!
you deserve more subs
I love the train so pretty
What red paint did you use?
It is automotive 2k paint. Mixed especially for the shade of maroon on this loco.
Ace Engineering Works it is possible for you to send me a link to this paint!? :)

beautiful what gauge of track does it need please
O gauge, you can buy it on the mamod website with the train
what black paint did you use
BBQ paint for the black, direct to bare metal.
what happened to the car at 5:41
Hot water from the locomotive have gone over it, then it caught on fire and burnt away... :-)
Are the coaches costom
The coaches aren't custom, they are standard Mamod coaches from the 80's. The brake van was brown but I painted to match the coaches.
I have this loco on my table😂😂😂😂😂
Is it running on standard G scale track?
O gauge track
We’re do you get this train
*where
Why do you want to know? You look too young to understand how it works anyway.
i don't think a small derail could almost break the locomotive
The sad music tho, and that scene is in a way sort of sad, cause it may have caused damage, and water and fuel might of spilled.

how do i know this?
i own on of these
I've still got mine. The box is a bit tatty though
There are locomotives to commemorate the birth of Prince William and Henry, and for the wedding of William ????
nope, there is a queen golden jubilee one though, only i wouldn't reccomend it seeing as it's crap
