*FOR LARGE ADULTS* who you can't reach around that are checking..... reach around the chest and compress like you would the stomach. (Not as effective as below the rib cage but better than nothing) **Do not do this for average size people you can reach around and do properly** [Thought this in school years ago....fell free to update if new way for very large people]
Not ideal.....if they are over 1yr old we we're tough to crouch behind them with there back tight to your legs and do the adult version of it. By doing this you will be at there hight when you thrust your fist in and up under there rib cage. So get on your knees or crouch with them tight against your body and you closer to there hight and do the adult way.
YES! We asked that in our school CPR class and the instructor said if they go out while still choking stop trying to dislodged the object and go right to CPR. So no matter what if they pass out with it still stuck DO CPR while someone else (or you if alone) calls 911

Lots of good info but some is not spot on and should be corrected when the video is sold. If not in the DVD in a paper along with the video but all in all great job thanks for the video.
School kids should be instructed on this and other basic first aid manoeuvres as a civic responsibility.
Excellent instructor and great visuals.
Very well explained and demonstrated. The presenter is a great educator. Much appreciated from us here in Spain...thanks!
this will be helpful for me to start babysitting thank you :)
to the point 4:00
Thanks
Thank you very much! This information was very helpful to know- especially because I have a little baby sister who could start choking unexpectedly!
The back blows need to be upward. It's not just hitting the baby's back. You have to hit the back upwards, otherwise you can do more harm
Correct and same with choking.....in and up in one motion not just up as mentioned in video
Thank you very much! This video is really helpful for people with minimal knowledge in the CPR field. :)
nice video suited for our general practicum exercises,

I'm sorry for ur loss:( I'm a new mother of a 42 days old baby boy, I can't imagine loosing him.
Biga Kaisi So Sorry :( for you .
Is the infant one okay to do to a 2year old? My son chocked twice yesterday and thats what I did and it saved him both times.

Wrong when you slap his back is away and you can actually place him on your leg so you have more effectiveness yes I am certified
so would u still need to do CPR if the foreign body is not dislodged ?
