- After years of only seeing them from afar, Gavin finally drives a Vanderhall! Was he kind to it? Or does the brutal honesty leak out and spill?

I've got a 2019 Vanderhall Speedster, I upgraded to the optional brembo big brake kit and it got rid of the touchy/grabbing feel of the standard brakes. I imagine that was what was making you feel the pull to the left, although I've never noticed that even with the stock set up.
I've done nearly 20k miles in the mountains here in Colorado and it's never lost traction.
I never experienced loss of traction under braking, but felt the hard pull under braking and felt that it was due to the overall geometry of the car. This was also a 2019 model.
@ExhibitionofSpeed interesting.... I've not heard of this from other owners. I wonder if his suspension is improperly set up? Have him contact the VanderSpa and they will help him sort it.
The traction comment was about how well it handles hard driving on mountain roads.. ..
@exhibitionofspeed I own a Vanderhall Venice. That pull under braking may be due to an incorrectly installed brake line. There were quite a few Venice and Carmels that were installed incorrectly from the factory. They basically need the brake lines connected to the distribution block installed in the correct order. The issue was the rear brake line was installed in the right/left brake position on the block causing uneven brake force from left to right. He may want to take it to a dealer to have it inspected or call the Vanderspa for assistance as it’s a pretty big safety hazard, and in the rain could cause a spin and loss of control of the vehicle.
That's crazy because I also briefly drove a Laguna and that was twitchy under braking too.
@@ExhibitionofSpeed upgrading to the Optional brembo big brakes seems to eliminate this issue with the single piston stock setup. It certainly made a difference for me.
Who the fuck thought these should be priced at $80k in 2016?
Great review homie
Thanks dawg.
That was the first car they made and there was a bunch of engineering under the skin that was done, and so the company had to recoup costs. Not terribly uncommon.

The OG Laguna version had a Carbon body and some minor things that were different. Ya i would never pay that for one and that's why i own the one in the video. Its a completely different style of driving from what i have had and honestly with how much character the Venice has i love every minute i drive it.
And we believe that everyone should love the cars they drive! I had a great time driving and reviewing your Venice! Even if it was 100 degrees up in East Canyon 😂
Thank you Jason!

The Vanderhall looks amazing with the 190 horsepower! Very clean and cool looking! It would certainly look great on the Blue Ridge Parkway! Maybe one day I can buy a great used one!
Oh man, I feel like even an inline 2 would probably make for a fun experience. You know I love my turbo bands, but after experiencing motorcycles, I feel like this almost motorcycle adjacent experience should be that way down from an EcoTec. Realistically, I think the GR inline 3 turbo would absolutely be a better match, especially for the cost of these.
A GR Corolla 1.6 or some motorcycle engines would absolutely add to the experience, sonically. Maybe or maybe something like a Kawasaki H2R motor? 👀
@@ExhibitionofSpeedh2r engine is dont good for carrying weight, this thing is too heavy, you need a zx14r gen2 1441cc n/a like the new t-rex. The 1.4t from gm is one of the worst engine ever made by chevy lol. Fact! Good review 👌🏻
Hey guys, do shorts. IT WILL BOOST YOUR CHANNEL!!!!!!
Just started. Will make more soon.
Hi brother, actually I have a problem with my vanderhall that when I turn off the engine the front & back lights stay on I can’t turn off even with the ignition switch in park position. I should disconnect the electricity from the main battery
We are not associated with the Vanderhall brand, or any of it entities. Have you tried contacting them?
Interesting vehicle, honestly never heard of vanderhall before watching this. Even though its pretty cool i think i perfer the looks of the slingshot
❤

It has a Spyker look to it.
I could see that.

Looks like the kind of car a Top Gear presenter can flip on his head.
That's the other 3 wheeler, we also drove! Go check that video out on our channel!
I'm not thankful
Okay. You're allowed that.
