the touch screen won't work under water but you can set your volume keys as the shutter, the only thing that idk how woud you do is focus to specific objects.
btw quick warning: No phone is water proof, just resistant (and ONLY to fresh water, no sea water or pools with chlorine/salts) and with age the gaskets start wearing off, so avoid at all costs putting your phone into water.

I purchased umidigi bison pro it working under water photography I used it long time in sea water nothing problem found really good phone for underwater photography

@@vasu8127 Then you may had been really lucky. the IP standard only applies for fresh water (from what I remember and that's why I previously said only fresh water).
The problem with sea water and pool water is the minerals/salt that they have and their corrosive and conductive aspect. I don't think you would want to sacrifice your hundreds of dollars of investment down the drain for some under the water photos.

If you really want to get some underwater photos I saw somewhere a type of bag/case designed to protect phones from water and that's the best option imo.
