George Franks-Herbert was a part of our Stagecoach family for the longest time. He couldn’t remember or imagine a life without Stagecoach, & always looked forward to his Saturday afternoons with us.
George started at Stagecoach as a 4 year old, & in July 2021 received his 14 year award. Truly a remarkable student & young man.
George was clever, funny, genuine, good natured & determined. And we are truly grateful to have known, taught & loved him. The wonderful memories of him at Stagecoach will live on in our hearts.
He turned 18 in June 2021, & left Stagecoach that summer to start his degree in Biochemistry at Bristol University.
He tragically passed away on January 31st 2022.
George lived with a condition called Marfan syndrome, & was carefully monitored by the hospital since birth. He unexpectedly & suddenly suffered an aortic dissection & was unable to be revived. George's two sisters & father also have Marfan syndrome.
We know that George would want to help others with Marfan syndrome, & his family have set up this JustGiving page in his memory.
