I'm from Detroit usa, where chili cheese fries were invented. Across the river, in Canada, they do poutine. I gotta say tho these spice bags look fckin delicious

The irish have the spice bags and the dutch have the kapsalon, which is fries, shoarma, garlicsauce cheese melted over it and salad on top. Though we do have older classic fries combinations the snackbars have, like a meat stew, or peanutsauce mayo curryletchup and onions.
i didnt know it was an irish only thing. ive only had it a few times and im addicted
Going to Dublin in the summer, this'll be on my list.
I had to track this down in NYC and it was one of the greatest things I've ever eaten!

Does anyone else like when the chips and the chicken is soggy? I feel like it has more flavour than the crispy chips and chicken.
I'm American, so take everything I say with a grain of salt, but that's your bland ancestors talking. Fried anything must have a crisp/crunch.

As somebody that moved to Ireland 11 years ago, I can confirm that spice bag is nothing to be hyper about. Something like putine 🤣 I know I offended entire population of Ireland (and Canada), and I'm sorry, but it had to be said. Love y'all!

Apparently from what I've researched, the secret is in the powder mix.
Lot's of MSG in there, which would explain why it's so addictive.

Yeah, sorry, i just dont get it. These fixations for the spice bag and the Chicken Fillet Roll are just completely bizarre. Im an American, so i too come from an impoverished food culture. Yeah but i immigrated to Geneva , Switzerland several years ago, and mainly for the food. Now, in terms of palate, im way more French than the actual French. You know they say there is no zealot like the convert. Thats true.
TBH it sounds terrible. I can understand the connection with hangovers. Sort of thing you want when your mental capacity is impaired.
