The Triangular sticker on the side panel next to the 'Made in Italy' sticker is called a 'Datatag' , so if your machine gets stolen it's supposed to be easier to be traced back to you.

AdBlue is the trade name for a type of diesel exhaust fluid. It's a mixture of urea and deionised water that's stored in a separate tank from the diesel fuel. When the engine is running, tiny amounts of AdBlue are squirted onto the exhaust gas produced, turning the NOx into nitrogen and water.
I work for a Landini dealership in north wales and that exact tractor (PN19 ABU) was with us for months as a demo. Quite a popular machine as demo

It doesn't affect fuel economy it's just an exhaust pest. One of the first things to get rid of when the warranty is over on a new tractor
it cools the exhaust down before leaving the muffler we in the US call it DEF fluid.

@David Mulhare NOS is N2O and is indeed not used in tractors, NOx with the x being 1, 2 or 3 is a part of the exhaust gasses and gets removed by selective catalytic reduction of the exhaust gasses with Adblue / DEF / urea/ammonia

You need to bring them in the day there made it the day after. No good bringing them in a month later, when they’ve lost there shape they are easier to stack and prone to being damaged. Much easier to stack when they are perfectly round out of the baler.
I think your bales would stack better if they were denser, I see some of them have slumped. Our bales are made with a McHale fusion, they have additive, are chopped and are very dense. Six wraps. Good value for money.
Its interesting to compare the old to the new tractors, just makes you wounder what they will look like in another 20 years driver less perhaps?
When we had the farm, my uncles were very fussy about small bales in barn, first course, cut side down on timbers, as we went up, cut sides out, the barn always looked good, dont worry about the round bales
All that's missing from the Landini is a loader, you're then sorted.👌🚜👍 Looks quite compact for 145hp. Could be your new middle name Richard Landini Cornock. 😁😁

That was a nice new tractor, but farmers in my area of the US still pay top dollar for McCormick tractors like yours. Lot's of us smaller farmers do not want all of the new electronics or emission systems that come with new tractors.

I know the early ones didn't have a very good reputation especially the smaller ones fruit farmers used for spraying but they look like they have moved on really well. We run all case tractors. But they when we renew one of ours they might be worth a look. Great video again sir keep em coming regards to the family
I have heard mixed opinions about the new ones but they sound good on paper. Our 15 year old one is pretty reliable to say the least
So long as the bales are safe that’s all that matters.

My last 3 diesel cars have had adblue tanks, Its all to do with reducing exhaust emissions. I think its just injected into the exhaust / catalyst side. Was told it's refined pigs wee but not sure about that 🤔

Yes it is pig P@ss and injects into the exhaust after such comes out of the engine, If you ever hear anyone say "running without " will ruin the engine, just have a little chuckle at their lack of knowledge :-)
Yeah the Fendt I uses probably drinks more Adblue than fuel but something different for older farms not used to it
NO , Adblue is a mixture of water and a synthetic product man made urea that has been used in agriculture for decades and first synthesized as far back as 1828. Pig Pee HAS Never ever been used in any modern production of fertilizer or ever in AdBlue. If you know anyone who grows potatoes they will tell you that the liquid fertilizer they use is a liquid nitrogen urea. its the same stuff as Adblue but without all the water.
@@robertstibz9506 No, Pig urine has never been used. Adblue is a synthetic fertilizer. In engines its a synthetic mix of urea and water injected into the exhaust pipe, which is in front of the SCR catalyst, but downstream of the engine. As it is heated in the exhaust, the AdBlue changes into ammonia (NH₃) and carbon dioxide (CO₂).
@john mcgee synthetic ammonia and carbon pig urine has never been used in def / AdBlue if you work in a processing factory you would know that.

Just to answer your question Richard. You can pretty much pick the colour you want on a Valtra. They have a range of colours. But to me a Valtra should be red, as that is the bit of Volvo BM heritage there's left I guess.

McCormick and Landini are brands of the same company so you’ll know what you get if you get a new McCormick . When you thought was a valtra you queried the colour . You can get a valtra in 8 different colours.

A tidy stack of bales shows a bit of pride in the job if nothing else. That said if your going to be using them quickly then no point being too fussy.

Adblue messes up the tractor and makes it unreliable, we actually disable adblue on our tractors,trucks and cars,cause some even have them now

Ad blue dosnt mix with diesel put the adblue in with the diesel and thats the fuel system knackered the adblue is squirted into the exhaust

How well bales are stacked depends on how high you're stacking really. Can't stack them in a shitty way if you're going high

Newer tractors are nice but I think I would still try and keep away from the ones with addblue as its basically like an extra government tax being added for using a diesel engine, I know someone that removed the addblue system from there car and there was a negligible rise in the emissions
Adblue is easy to get rid off. Just do it when the warranty is over
yeah but if yours brakes you need a spanner and some ducktape if that one brakes you need a nasa engineer to fix it

Dear Richard I am 15 years old and I have got one dream among others and that one dream is to be a farmer and on my farm i am going to have lots of John deere tractors and 2 massey Ferguson tractors a 135 and a 35 and 1 Nuffield tractor and 1 JCB 1125 and I'm also going to have a backhoe loader which I named Rosie when I was 5 years old so Richard after I finished my exams and passed them and then finished agri college and university would you like to come visit my farm in kidderminster Worcestershire

We didn't have aircon in normal cars until the late 1990s, Peugeot 405s in the UK were the 1st mainstream cars to have aircon as standard, so Aircon wasn't really a thing tractors had in the UK until all our cars had them. I don't think anyone would dream of buying new tractors without AirCon and I'm sure it would cost you to remove it these days.

Hi Richard, is that Landini too posh lol.. John Deer would be better lol.. The AdBlue is a synthetic compound and has been mad made since 1828. If you know someone who grows potatoes they will tell you how important it is as a liquid fertilizer. Exactly the same product that is used in Diesel vehicle exhaust systems but never in the engine. Urea is not only a valuable fertilizer but since 2010 has been introduced into the exhaust systems of diesel engines to help control harmful particulates. Urea has been a synthetic product and not a product from pig urine. In motor vehicles AdBlue is injected into the exhaust system pipe, which is in front of the SCR catalyst, but downstream of the engine. As it is heated in the exhaust, the AdBlue changes into ammonia (NH₃) and carbon dioxide (CO₂). Its a common misbelief that AdBlue comes from Pigs and is injected into engines. AdBlue reduces, (aledjedley) Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) emissions. Nitrogen oxide is a harmful gas that can damage the human respiratory system, reducing lung function, increasing allergen exposure and the risk of respiratory illnesses. It promotes the formation of fine particulate pollution and ground ozone - harmful to both health and vegetation. If you have some spare adBlue pour it on the veg patch . Its a great liquid fertilizer. Synthetic urea and water ..
