      @AbroadInThailand We just finished 6 months of traveling around Bali, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Egypt Turkey, and Albania. We wanted to check out these major hubs for expats/slow traveller's. We're back in the states due to family reasons for the next 6 months and then we'll be settling somewhere in Koh Samui for 6 months out of the calendar year and split the other 6 months between Vietnam/ Indonesia/Cambodia

    I know that stretch very well. Not been to Samui since 2019. Cheers for your video mate. I have spent many happy months on that Island over the years.

    Thank you for the very nice video, my first time watching yours, Liked and subscribed! I feel the same about edited and polished videos. They can be actually plain and boring sometimes. Generally I prefer hearing/watching the thoughts and views of people from any kind of 'expertise' - living in Thailand, overseas for years is one great expertise IMO.

      Btw Ko Samui was my frist destination in Thailand in the 90s. I never went back since but I'm sure it's even better place to stay today!

      My first time to visit Koh Samui was in 2020 and I've been living in Thailand pretty much full-time ever since. It's been one of the most rewarding and enriching experiences of my life. It's still an amazing place but a lot more developed since the 90s of course.

    We love Koh Samui and Thailand in general. Then again we also love Malaysia and Singapore. But we will only visit and will never move to anywhere. Our lives in Australia is great and we will just travel every year like we do.

    Is the at home internet service absolutely stable in Koh Samui? (not cutting here and there for seconds or minutes or even hours) I was told it is not in Koh Phangan.

    • @AbroadInThailand
      @AbroadInThailand  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes the internet is usually very good and consistent

    My dude, the last US Military base in the Philippines closed in 1992. You have to get your facts straight, dislike this video as you are saying things that are not true.

      Good to know, thanks for sharing. Still a strong American influence in The Philippines which I didn't like so much.
