As pissed as I was at the defense, it’s week 1. Feel like this is the Dallas game from last year. If there’s anything I trust Saleh on it’s defensive adjustments. Aaron Rodgers still has it. He’s gonna have a great season. I refuse to freak out over 1 game

Can anyone be honest and finally say that Saleh is a complete failure as a HC a whole off season and this is the effort that this HC can get out of his players Saleh is being constantly out coached there were zero adjustments I never thought they would win this game but at least we should have seen a competitive effort

The Jets D was excellent the last two seasons with horrible field position and inadequate rest.
Joe D part ways with Franklin-Meyers and Huff and replaced them with Reddick who is obviously not playing. That’s why we couldn’t stop the run against one of the best, if not the best, running offenses in the NFL. They have to get Reddick signed.
We have 3 new offensive linemen and AVT is coming back from injury. They did a very good job pass-protecting, especially considering they were going up against a top d-line. However, their lack of cohesiveness showed in the run-blocking game. You have to give these guys time. They will improve as the season progresses.
Mike Williams needs time to sync with Rogers too.
This team has many new parts, you can’t expect them to be great right away.
Look at Tampa Bay with Brady when they won. They lost to the Saints to start the season and began 7-5.
The Jets have more room for improvement then almost every team.

Rodgers looked to me that he wasn't moving well. He looked hobbled and moved gingerly. He threw the ball well, but he looked like he was going to be broken in two if he gets hit hard. I hope he doesn't get hurt, but I think he should retire, and I think the Jets should start manoeuvering for a low 1st rounder.

Why should Jet Nation be worried about the team losing to an NFC team? The Jets should be playing lights out football against AFC teams like KC, Cincy, Buffalo, Miami, Houston, JAX, etc. Once the Jets plow through the entire conference all the way to SB LIX and play oh say SF again, they'll have a better chance of beating them in the Big Game compared to a regular season game like last night because of game films they can use to readjust. SB history has proof and supports their chances of revenge so Jet Nation should take the loss like a blessing in disguise. Beating SF or any other NFC team in the SB is way better than beating them in a regular season game.
