  • I found some more frustrated visitors to Disneyland on Facebook and am offering some simple solutions. Complaints this time range from ride closures to Rider Switch and even some families concerned there aren't any attractions their kids will enjoy. Hopefully you learn some things so you don't have to have the same problems these folks did.

    I have a food allergy, the cast members at all the restaurants went above and beyond to check and make sure food was safe for me.

    I agree with the last story, don't demand things and CM are likely to help you out. On one of our trips to DCA we opted for a World of Color dinning package lunch, the service was incredibly slow. Took over an hour to get our main course. There were apparently multiple problems that led to our meal being delayed. We started to get a bit antsy as we felt our time for rides was being eaten up by waiting for a long time for food (yes we knew it would take longer for a sit down meal, but this was getting long). And my sister in law is diabetic and really needed to eat. We however did not get angry with our server. He came back to apologize, and asked which rides we were going to go on, we told him and then he came back with special passes for us to use on those rides. It was still taking a long time for our meal and the manager ended up coming over and said they were covering the cost of the meal, we just had to pay for the alcohol. This was way more than we ever expected and I truly believe it was because we weren't demanding that they do something for us.

    We were on Alice in wonderland and it broke down. A cast member came and helped us off the ride and said we could come back at any time and let them know we had been on the ride earlier and it broke down and go to the beginning of the line,great customer service !

    I read the reviews also and it seems most complaints are fixable if people did some research and prepared. I love Disneyland and I have run into some hiccups, but we just roll with the punches. we are so happy and blessed to even go. some people never get to experience it. people really need to check their priorities and just be thankful.

    I love these!! You have to make these a regular thing because I see the same thing on Trip adviser when ppl rate Disneyland or Disne yworld low, a lot of times its for the dumbest things that are their fault, easily preventable, or they are entitled (probably wealthy) people who dont understand why the rules apply to them, or simply just didn't do any research before going on their trip. I always want to answer them but I wouldnt be as nice as you are about it hahaha!
    Like I took my two brothers to Disneyland a coupe years ago and it was the first trip for both of them. And though one them was having fun and getting into it, the other one kept grumbling about the lines, "Man, look at all these LINES, geez! I cant believe how many LINES and people holy sh*t this is ridiculous!"
    Me and my other brother were busting up laughing and imitating him like, "Omg I'm going to the most popular theme park in the world and it's full of PEOPLE and LINES? Holy crap, this is unexpected!" Lol!
    Anyway, but yeah there are a lot of people l just like my brother who really just need a little mental guidance when it comes to complaints lol.

    Off topic but if I buy two Disneyland tickets online will they both show up on my Disneyland app? I was told I'd get the ticket barcodes through email but I'm wondering if I can just use the app to enter the park.

      To the best of my knowledge and experience, they will both show up on your app. You will need to get paper tickets eventually, though, in order to get FastPasses.

      Jessica Castro once they scan your app at the gate they give you a paper fast pass!

      +Roxy Well, not a FastPass, but they can give you a ticket.
