Portuguese Caramelized Almond Tart Recipe

    To make this delicious Portuguese Caramelized Almond Tart recipe, you needed..
    INGREDIENTS:
    For the base:
    • 150g Salted Butter at room temperature
    • 2 Eggs
    • 175g Sugar
    • 175g Plain Flour
    • 1 Tsp Baking Podwer
    • 40ml Milk
    • Lemon Zest
    For the almond top:
    • 125g Salted Butter
    • 125g Sugar
    • 40ml Milk
    • 150g Slivered Almonds
    Method:
    1. Start by greasing a pan with a removable bottom with butter, line with a circle of parchment paper and grease again with butter.
    2. Place the salted butter at room temperature in a bowl, add the sugar and beat until creamy.
    3. While beating, add the eggs, one by one.
    4. Add the Baking Powder and 1/3 of the flour, wrap everything and add the remaining flour.
    5. In the last addition of flour add the milk and mix.
    6. Add the Lemon zest and mix well.
    7. Spread the mixture on the tart pan and bake at 170ºC, cook for 12 to 15 minutes.
    8. In the meantime, prepare coverage. In a saucepan, bring butter, sugar, almonds and milk to the boil.
    After the melted butter, boil over medium heat for 3 minutes. After 3 minutes, remove.
    9. After 12 minutes of the pie in the oven, remove it and cover it quickly with the almond preparation so that it does not cool and solidify.
    10. Put the pie back in the oven and increase the temperature to 190ºC for 6 minutes until the almonds are toasted.
    11. Remove it from the oven and let it cool. After cold, put a knife around the pie and unmold.
    And it's ready to serve.

    Se colocar meio farinha de trigo e meio farinha de amêndoa não ficará mais saboroso?
