Riccardo Moretti thanks mate for the tip! Sorry was me being amateur with the tool, but yeah fully agree with you, that’s how I go about it now. Thanks for watching, Stihl for life!
Hi Peter, I’m not sure on the part number for this puller, I bought it of Trademe, so is after market as! There are a lot of them out there, the key would be to make sure it does the model of saws you want to work on. For instance I work mostly with Stihl and on all of the Stihl models, so the puller I bought can fit most of what Stihl make. Hope this helps? Thanks for watching, Stihl for life!
Hi Liam, Not that I’m aware of, I have never tried one though, $30 nz for the right tool is a pretty good price, and you live in the safety of using a tool that won’t damage the flywheel unless your doing something pretty wrong.... If you want give it a go and let me know how you get on? Thanks for watching, Stihl for life!!
yeh ill probably end up doing that, thanks though! also i have the stihl 075 AV and i know that stands for anti vibration but do you happen to know if itd need another tpi or somthing weird like that?
well i thought it was brilliant. but hey im from dorkland. so what do i know. keep it up bro. im just tearing down my first 360.
looks like you still had the screwdriver in place, with that tool you should use a spanner and the socket to break the flywheel off
