Great tune. Had it stuck in my head for days and loving it. I was so intrigued by the vid I went and ordered the full version. It takes a lot for me to shed a tear usually but this film really got me. Only a well cultured genius could adapt it into such a music video. True masterpiece, true genius Anton Newcombe.
hunchback of machu pichu - bjm 2051pm 21.2.23 i think the b-side is entitled the hunchback of notre catford. something to do with another cath being continuously stalked by some rubber lipped mad man. not any rubber lipped man you would know. well, you might know him. trynna look like he's double busy with driving up and down and leaning on his car door window frame talking to someone as though there was someone there to talk to. of course they could splice folk in. but that wouldn't be the same as knowing he was talking to no one. probably that daffodil or that crocus. watch for the alleged respectable types filming "secretly" the comings and goings of the street. as i say they can splice folk into their footage and make it seem like life up here is a big deal... the director asked or, rather, demanded: we want some half wits walking by as they trip out on LSD making mad gestures to the passing lip guy and his imprisoned other. then cops come round and look bemused as the lard bangs on the door for them. quality policing.
