I've changed those crazy lights on that truck...jeez...what a pain. The other Chevy actually required the entire grill had to be removed! Engineers....hahahaha!
That upper bulb is the headlight and daytime running light so its always on while driving day or night. It gets hot and melts the connector I ordered ceramic connectors from Amazon and haven't had a problem since.
