The reason behind his rebellion has to do with his ambition to jump queue to become Olubadan and prevent Ladoja from ascending the throne of Ibadanland. He knew that there's likelihood of the next Olubadan not lasting long. We were here when Oba Ogundipe ascended the throne he had lost his sight. We were here when Oba Kobiowu qas was to be by passed when Oba Akinyele died and High Chief Ogunsola was preferred. He should tread softly and stop his shenanigans of disrupting the ordered system of Ibadan obaship because of his self interest. He should remember that what will be, will be.

I see litigations on litigations henceforth as it concerns the obaship system of Ibadan long been touted as the perfect roadmap to the enthronement of obas in Yoruba land. My thinking is since chiefs are the direct candidates to the Ibadan throne and now they are being made Kings would it be possible for them to become kings and be ruling in their domains and the whole Ibadan?
Going by what is said about the next in line, it appears that he's ill and may not have the mental capacity and vitality to carry out the roles of Olubadan. The right thing to do is ensuring that anyone who wants to lead Ibadan must have the mental capacity and vitality to lead.

With all due respect to the high chief on his interview, non of the two sides is fair with designate Olubadan rather I see that other side is more sympathy this latter because it would be a big slam if that opportunity is not given to that family to be enthroned, once opportunity lost it is very rear to be regained. What his royal majesty was saying to let them give Oba Olakulehin rest is an indirect way to pave way for him (Oba Ajibola) to become automatic Olubadan and he wanted to avoid that if Balogun line which entitled now for the position is quickly given that chance, - and may God forbids- if the designate Olubadan demises he knows that automatically it will shift to Otun side which he himself doesn't want to happen. The high chief (Oba) wants to paint those other high chiefs black do that people would be thinking they are wicked and unkind to the designate Olubadan whereas he himself wanted to slow the process so that the opportunity will be for him when at last the king cannot make up to the task. The same thing applies to other side but still the other line is more pity than his own opinion because they want the family of Ogboriefon to taste the throne which had gone away from them over 160years ago and beside they want the struggle and patience the designate Olubadan Oba Olakulehin to go in vain without enthronement.
How can any OBA in YORUBALAND have and wear 2 CROWNS in the same City ?

The traditional kingmaker has the duty to announce an Oba of a town or village. This is what the traditional rulers should fight for. The people sent to represent us in the house of assembly betrayed the people they represented by passing the law to favor the politicians so that they could control the citizen of their state without rilvary from any Oba.

Ladoja is next after Baba Olakulehin. The thing however is that should Baba Olakulehin die, God forbid, before he is installed as Olubadan or disqualified on ground of health incapability, this Baba who is next to Baba Olakulehin in their own line would be installed instead of Ladoja. That he is insisting that Baba Olakulehin be given time to recover may not be unconnected with a wishful thinking that Baba Olakulehin may pass on during the period of wait. In all, may God's will prevail for Ibadan and her people.
