Look at Entire Balkan Nations Albania, Serbia, Greece, Bosnia etc. They all have same type of Dances and Cuisine. If it was not Turkish influence u would all be different. Or why ur Cuisine has Turkish names? Sarma, Börek, Kaymak, Cevap(Kebab). Serbian has many tousand Turkísh words in their language. So you guys indeed have Turkish/Mongolian influence in your culture.

I love your land and culture too. One thing I don't like is in TV series they yell too much and they have a habbit of hitting their adult kids. Hope that is just in TV shows. I didn’t know the Byzantines sung a song about a Turkish patriotic song, because that’s what it is. It’s about Ankara and the Republic. Also, it’s not really stealing Byzantine culture as Anatolia was part of the Byzantine Empire as was Greece. Byzantine culture belongs to the entire eastern Mediterranean. Cultures evolve

+Bathna33 Of course they have. Culturally geographically Aegean region is the mixture of Turkish and Greek dances. We call Zeybek dances and they call Zeibekiko. Both sides of the Aegean Sea were influenced by each other.

Surely cultures fused, but that is heavy Greek influence, especially the way they dance, the format. Today's Western Turkey and beyond was Greek, e.g. Pontians.
