Hello, Bahraini here (like actually, my family tree goes back to 500 years in Bahrain). We're one of the least represented Arabs, our country is the smallest Arabic country with more than half of the populations being non-native. Most native Bahrainis live in villages, you would hardly find any Bahrainis living in major cities. The only time I'd recommend a foreigner to visit Bahrain is during the month of Muharram, you can safely assume that anyone wearing full black clothes with green "bracelet" is a native Bahraini since most of the native population are Shia.
i'm not racist, but you're always the smartest.. i mean in competitions between school, most of you perform exceptionally well.. anyways, there are stereotypes about you, just like there are stereotypes about anyone else. no one is safe.
but i'd recommend on your behalf that no one approaches anyone on the basis of how they look like, because first that's just discrimination. second, you're locals and you deserve to go about your day without anyone shoving a camera in your face for views.
