n(n+1)/2 is the sum of first n natural numbers and the average is sum of all observations divided by total no of observations, so formula comes (n+1)/2 similarly for sum of first n even natural numbers 2+4+6+8+...+n, take 2 common from these, you'll get 2(1+2+3+....+n/2) so the formula becomes 2m(m+1)/2 for total sum, and if you want to find the average just divide the sum with total number of observations, i.e. m+1)

thank you so much sir ....... jitna vi thank you bole kam par jayega. apke mehenat se bohot sare students ki parai aasan ho raha hai ..... best wishes for you ..
I have problem in 1st question , if I consider consecutive odd no.s to be 59 and 61 since we can consider any consecutive no. as mentioned and also there average is 60 but sum is 120 not 3600.
Sir, we can also solve question no. 6 like this : As given the average of middle no. Is 6 and there are 8 total elements. Since the no. Of elements is even the average of middle 2 number's is average of all elements. Therefore, sum of elements will be 8×6=48.
Hi sir, In this video starting you had told that average of n odd numbers is n and average of n even numbers is n+1. But when applying these formulas in question 4 , answers are wrong. Could you please check and tell once again? And Iam not understanding 5th question in this. I tried in normal way by taking smaller n value and compared by doing with formula , iam getting different answers. Please help me on this.

Coz he is deducting average value . If you use this formula { n(n+1)(2n+1)}/6 . then while calculating average value you have to devide the first n . So in one step the average becomes = {(n+1)(2n+1)}/6
sir aapko bohot sahi hai aaap jab aise rehta hai ki first 4 no ya first 4 natural number me kabhi aap x1+x2+x3+... ya x+x+1+x+2.. aisa lete wo mujhae samajh me nahi aaya
thanq so much sir... who r not able to go coaching centres due to financial problems then study smart is very very helpful to crack bank jobs so much thankful to u sir
bahat sare wrong concept kyu logo ko dete ho, pehle question hi Toh wrong concept, u should say avg of first consecutive odd number instead of any consecutive odd number. so be careful
The weight of 5 members of 18 is measured in sequence and the average weight is calculated after the measuring of weight of each member, then each time the average weight is increased by 1 kg. Find the difference between weight of first & last member.
Sir your teaching is too good.. I just request you to make a final video of every topic which revises the types and short summary of the questions covered in previous parts
sir as you explained the very first question like 1+3+5+9/4 and the sum is equal to the square of the avg similarly if use other consecutive no. like 5+7+9+11/4 then the avg will be 8 and square of 8 is 64 but the sum is 32.
Thanks bro... it's really helpful to those candidates who want to study in cotching.....but actually they can't afford it.... also thanks for your welfare to students

I have a question .. In question number 1- average of three consecutive odd no like - 3,5,7 is 5 but the sum of these nos cannot be obtained by 5^2 . because its 25 and actual sum is 15 . So your concept may not applied for any consecutive odd nos . Its applied for consecutive nos. that are starting from 1 .

Sir Thank you so much. I am from Pakistan and I have learnt a lot from you. The best youtube channel ever.
Always welcom
n(n+1)/2 is the sum of first n natural numbers and the average is sum of all observations divided by total no of observations, so formula comes (n+1)/2
similarly for sum of first n even natural numbers 2+4+6+8+...+n, take 2 common from these, you'll get 2(1+2+3+....+n/2) so the formula becomes 2m(m+1)/2 for total sum, and if you want to find the average just divide the sum with total number of observations, i.e. m+1)
Thank you so much sir.. I am from Pakistan and i find these videos very helpful.

Sir plz exam level k question ki video bnaiye na
Very nice video sir, my all basics boubt is cleared and I want to learn full concept of average.
Thank you
I have problem in 1st question , if I consider consecutive odd no.s to be 59 and 61 since we can consider any consecutive no. as mentioned and also there average is 60 but sum is 120 not 3600.
Sir same doubt. Reply kijiye.
SAME DOUBT
This is because Sir is asking Consecutive Odd No. starting from "1" ...i.e.1+3+5+7...so that the average is 60 find sum....i think so...
HOW COME ITS 120??? ITS STILL 180 IE 60+61+59=180
Amit Kairon
Sir, we can also solve question no. 6 like this :
As given the average of middle no. Is 6 and there are 8 total elements. Since the no. Of elements is even the average of middle 2 number's is average of all elements. Therefore, sum of elements will be 8×6=48.
thanks sir for your all videos

ok
bhai same confusion mujhe bhi he tell me agar ans. mile to
sweety sam here you have to number the series, for eg starting from 2,4...50,50 comes at 25th position..so use formula n+1 here.Hence we get 25+1=26..
Anila Prakash ok thank u
Sir questions no 3 hai apne sum kiya hai average nahi hua hai

Sir 4th question mai 2 addition kyu Hua.
50+2(?)
Nice video.. Sir, in question no 6:- Avg of middle 2 nos is equal to avg of 8 nos.. So SUM= 6*8=48
sir ,formula of sum of square of natural number will be n(n+1)(2n+1)/6 but you have used formula only(n+1)(2n+1)/6 you forgot to write (n) in starting
if you put n then it will give u only sum but if u remove n then it will give average.
crrct
Coz he is deducting average value . If you use this formula { n(n+1)(2n+1)}/6 . then while calculating average value you have to devide the first n . So in one step the average becomes = {(n+1)(2n+1)}/6
Anjali Shrivastav ye formula jo aap kh re ho ye sum kaa hotaa hai avg poocha hai to n cancel ho jygaa

bahat sare wrong concept kyu logo ko dete ho, pehle question hi Toh wrong concept, u should say avg of first consecutive odd number instead of any consecutive odd number. so be careful
Phir tu kyu padh rha h yha bhag yaha s

the measuring of weight of each member, then each

the difference between weight of first & last member.
x+(2+x)=60
________
2
= 2x +2 =120
2x = 118.
x = 59
Now, 59+2= 61
59+61=120
Thus, any consecutive odd number
Is 60

sir as you explained the very first question like 1+3+5+9/4 and the sum is equal to the square of the avg similarly if use other consecutive no. like 5+7+9+11/4 then the avg will be 8 and square of 8 is 64 but the sum is 32.
Thanks bro... it's really helpful to those candidates who want to study in cotching.....but actually they can't afford it.... also thanks for your welfare to students
we can calculate the sum of any integer by ((first no.+last no.)/2)*total number of terms
Sir, the formula of sum of cubes of first n natural numbers is the whole square of n(n+1)/2 and the sum of first n natural numbers is n(n+1)/2 .
we are finding average here so we have to divide it with 'n' so n square becomes n i.e.[ n(n+1)]^2/2n
very nice...sir.....fantastic trick.....of average....!!! i like ur study trick...
Sir it was basic
But too good.
Because it is useful for beginners and clearing the concept
Sir best ho app seriously 🥰🥰🥰

I have a question .. In question number 1- average of three consecutive odd no like - 3,5,7 is 5 but the sum of these nos cannot be obtained by 5^2 . because its 25 and actual sum is 15 . So your concept may not applied for any consecutive odd nos . Its applied for consecutive nos. that are starting from 1 .

Very useful concepts.. Thank you Study Smart..
Sir at 13:54 the formula of sum of square of n natural number should be n(n+1)(2n+1)/6 Please rectify it.
Corrected , thank you :)
Sir, we all are learning from you, we would say thank you.
i think sir is taking directly average which makes him divided by n..and makes the direct formula..(n+1)(2n+1)/6
Sir directly calculated average here. So the answer is correct according to it. n(n+1)(2n+1)/6n which is (n+1)(2n+1)/6.
3.n(n+1)(2n+1)/6
5.(n(n+1)/2)^2...😃😃
The way of ur teaching and solving questions are extraordinary and 👍awesome sir.
Very nice video Sir it really help me
you are doing awesome work sir
