Moving the head sideways - go away face button - a show of mutual respect? An Australian horseman said he didn't like a horse to do this to him as he interpreted it as a sign the horse was more interested in something else than in him. Contrasting views, a lot to learn!

Sharon, your book is the best I ever read on horse communication! You speak right out of my heart, too - not only out of horses hearts. If you ever have trainings in Germany, I would love to help you organize locations! You are a fantastic listener, carry so much spirituality that makes my heart beam. I wish everyone would read your book - the world would be abetter place for humans and horses - in all individual ways. Thank you - keep up with your work, equine "friendly" horse nuzzles from Bavaria, Stéph

I've been around horses since I was born (quite a while ago!) and this vid shows me small body language nuances that I was only dimly aware of. I have much to learn, which keeps life interesting! Thank you! 🐴

Thank you for spelling out their conversations. I've noticed these interactions and body languages in a herd at a breeding farm where they keep their horses out 24/7. Fascinating.

Wonderfully informative, especially for those of us without any knowledgeable person to explain in such thorough detail, those nuances of herd communication/"horsespeak".(Thanks) One question, though... as far as I ever noticed, the "Konik" was a Polish small horse breed, so why do you say here that they are "The Wild Konik of the Netherlands" ?

Hi there, thank you for your comment, the title is because the video was taken in the Netherlands by the author of the book called, "The Wild Horses of the Netherlands."
