It'a been confirmed that golden parry is it's own thing and equipping GP onto any applicable shield gives it exclusively the GP traits.
To answer your question, no.

Im not sure but it should not work , if you put the ash of war on buckler (if it is even possible) it won’t increase the parry frames , it replaces the parry frames I think , I googled very much about it and it said that buckler has like 18? frames actual parry and if you put golden parry on, the 18 frames should be replaced with the frames of golden parry. But if you remove golden parry , the buckler has 18 actual parry frames again.

That's why you should hit with a range weapon like jar cannon or a bow.

my crossbow didn't do nearly enough damage to kill it, you can do it with melee you just need to sneak up from above it and do a jump attack, preferably a longer active attack like the light attack on spear weapons.
