Thanks for this video! I’ve made 3 of the Peppermint pocket skirts, great pattern. A couple more to add to your list are the Closet Core “Core T-Shirt” pattern and my personal favorite, the Forget Me Not “Vera” knit top. Love that one. They give you an option to pay $2 or not.
So many choices! The Fabric store has so many choices. I however have a heck of a time getting it to download in adobe. But the ones I did get download- open jacket very very easy- was amazing. Love your library as well!
You are certainly a go=getter. I like that these you show are modest clothing. Other videos I have watched show many free patterns which hardly cover the body....I do not even know anyone of any age who would wear most of them! I am impressed with your styles. I have not used PDF patterns, but after struggling to get major Pattern companies' measurements to fit me, I am going to get some PDF's. I wear 6-8 in ready to wear, and my Simplicity/McCall's patterns show I need 16-18. (?) They are a nightmare and do not fit any part of my body. hahaha
Thank you : ) I definitely prefer more comfortable/modest clothing to more revealing styles. I have also found the big four pattern companies to have quite a bit of ease built into their sizing, making them hard to fit..particularly if you're used to US 4/6/8 etc sizing that doesn't correspond to body measurements. Indie sewing companies have been easier for me personally to fit.
Thank you so much for this video! I've been knowing how to sew since I was a child (learned it from my grandma who was a seamstress) but I haven't had the confidence to start making my own clothes and I recently decided I will start to (try to) build a home made wardrobe! I've been watching all of your videos and it has been a great help :) I will try to make my first pair of classy pants using one of the patterns you featured
I tried to use the Fabric Store patterns but I could not download anything. I attempted to register but it then rejected my newly created password :( Huge hassle. I worked with it for several minutes but no luck. I think they need a new IT person. One thing I have not tried is printing a PDF (or having it printed). I have always loved paper patterns. I thought trying this with a free pattern might be best in case I muck it up.
You're a reader! How refreshing.
Thanks :) love a good book
Thank you for this! Also, your voice is lovely.
Oh thank you!

Awesome I’ll take a look at both thank you!
Love the patterns. Very nice. Summertime in AU. Won't stop me though 🐱
Thank you! 😊

That’s so great to hear! Making your own clothing is super rewarding. Happy to hear you’ve enjoyed my videos too 🤍

That sounds really frustrating I’m sorry to hear it didn’t work. Maybe try peppermint magazine?
