@@heribertohernandez3444 they are the same almost in everything. 91-92 are the ones that are completely different than the 93-97. 95-97 do have airbags, OBD II and the 93-94 dont
I suggest look into more of the southern trucks. I am in Texas, and there are good deals for them here. But they are hard to find, so it takes patience.
You had my interest with all the Toyota 4runners and trucks, you have my attention with the FZJ80 Land Cruiser. I've owned a 95 Land Cruiser for 2 years. its my daily driver. love it and slowly baselining it over time. Keeping it stock for the most part but itching to get it on lots of big trips. keep up the content hermano!
Congrats on one of Toyota’s best 4WD ever made. Looks like it’s not a 3x locked one. I recommend if it doesn’t already get the 8 pin mod which allows you to lock the center diff even in 4H. Without locking the center differential it’s basically an all wheel drive once you lock the center differential it makes it a true 4 x 4. Normally it engages the center diff lock in 4L
@@Chrisped11 some of the later US spec FZJ80 do not have the center differential locker button. They only engage in 4L. However they all have the wiring harness behind them and you can add the switch button to it. Once the center differential is locked the computer allows for the factory front and rear differential lockers to engage even in 4H
Is your rear driver window stuck down? My same window fell off the track, but when I opened it up the regulator and all that was fine. The glass had just come out of the clip thing, so all it needed was to be put back and glued!
Congratulations on the Land Cruiser! Great choice.
Hi, I'm here for the stickers.
(Also, the Land Cruiser looks sick.)
I sent it out already!

Is the 93-94 better than the 95-97? I might get one next month.

Try finding a rusted one out for 5k now. Not gonna happen
Does your FZJ80 have factory locking diffs? You got a good deal... wish I could find a deal like that around here!
No front or rear lockers sadly but for the price it was an awesome deal for such a hard to find Land Cruiser around here
OverlandNomad probably rust free too , being in TX? That's the problem with buying one up here.
Rust free baby
@@OverlandNomad Looks like I need to head down to TX to buy my next Yota. I'm tired of floor & frame repairs lol.
Great new project
I'm a hardcore tacoma owner but I really like the land cruiser. Hope to see future mods on her.
Wow, I really wouldn’t mind owning one of those!
Nice Disco. I'd love one of those, but I have reliability concerns.

You can lock the center diff anytime in 4H. It's the lockers that you do the 7 pin mod to use in 4H.

I got my 97 cruiser not ago for only 500$!!! 320k miles, needs a little engine work.
Got from a 2nd owner who had it from 1999 and NEVER offereded.
Good footage man!
I love you Jonathan!!!
the first time you put your landcruiser into 4wd? lol
I have people knock on my front door asking to buy my 97 LC. It’s a rust bucket but still worth a bunch
Good vid guys. I would love to join you and try out my 1983 FJ60 2F with you guys. She is front/rear locked. Thanks, Jorge in Mission.
Heck yeah Jorge! Is it the 60 that’s always at Sharyland HS?
All 80 series are full time AWD...
Full Time 4WD
You’re right they are AWD until the center differential is locked then it’s a true 4WD
Imagine finding a nice 80 series for 2k in todays market.

teodor angelov angelov yeah I would of kept the 02 4Runner he had, 94 is kind of too old for a daily drive I think.
