  • The summer exhibition at Kunsthaus Bregenz is dedicated to the German artist Thomas Schütte. The show features architectural models, female and male sculptures. Thomas Schütte was born in 1954 in Oldenburg, Germany. He studied at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf where he was a student under Gerhard Richter and Fritz Schwegler. Schütte has participated in documenta several times. In 2021 the Museum of Modern Art in New York is honoring him with a retrospective. Thomas Schütte lives and works in Düsseldorf.

    Die Exponate von Thomas Schütte sind sehenswert. Das Museum mit seiner Beton Konstruktion und dem entsprechenden Lärmpegel in den oberen Bereichen ist grauenhaft. Kenne kein Museum mit solche einem massiven Besucherlärm aufgrund dieser Beton Kontruktion ohne (wirksamen) Lärmschutz.
