Unity with the DA, as it has worked with the party in coalitions.

Yes we are slow learners but she also needs to tell us on what basis she's saying some people voted for middle ground which in this case is anc with its moderate policies. But definitely, there's no tool to determine the anc is moderate, because voting for is mostly determined by sentiments, hopeful conceptualization and loyalty and I think we why is the latter the most dangerous because it is mostly nit informed by objectivity but also the new factors on the modern politics is they buying off of politicians to look the other way and be rich why the downtrodden are subjected to business manipulations and austerity policies imposed on politicians. DA is exactly that, an austerity based politics whi h sick to exploit the labour from poor communities as a cannon fodder to enrich the few whom in South Africa are whites.

I am NOT sure what do you mean by NOT ever; I travel a lot and I see new areas (Kasi) that only started in the past 30 years. People with solid houses, water in the yard, flush toilets and many. My home has state of art primary school built in the past 6 years, I mean school with a stadium (never heard of in a village). After 1994 my village started a High School which for many years had very good pass rate. Not just a pass rate, even schools around during June holidays, they’d children.

So much that is being discussed is to a large extent missing the point, the major issue at this point is that the government over the past 20 to 30 years have been incompetent and corrupt resulting in many sectors of society actually deteriorating. Just rectify those things for one and many of the societal and economic issues will be set on a progressive path. The ANC is not capable and lacks integrity.

Thuli is spot on, ANC is the only party closer to the constitution, and a deal with DA will perpetuate the marginalisation of the majorly, investor sentiments should not be a primary consideration in the formation of the GNU
That's not true. Her views are extreme. You can forget about having a growing economy and a developmental state with a party like the ANC. Look where we are. Look at our economy. We are ALL getting poorer, and the inequality gap is widening. We need to strengthen the state, and if that means spending within our means, then so be it. If we continue on the ANC's path, an IMF bailout is guaranteed, and they will dictate the terms. We must balance economic growth with our social justice imperative.
We need policy alignment before considering a GNU. Policy alignment should dictate government formation. If we reject the radical policy ideas emanating from the EFF and MK, those parties must be left in the cold. The ANC got us into this mess. Therefore, many of their policies must be ditched, too, and replaced with policies that are progrowth.
