Just wondering, if you wanted to use this for a Zoom meeting within a classroom environment and also record it, would your recording have to show wrap around image at the top too? Just curious. The goal is to record the class for online access but I wasn't sure if the multiple screens would look disorganized or distracting to someone watching it after the fact.
Good evening, I am an elementary art teacher who will be traveling into each classroom with a cart full of materials. 7 classes a day with only 45min to teach each session. I will be hybrid. Some students in class, some at home. How do I effectively use the teachers OWL cam? How can I use my own if they've purchased one for me? I was thinking of pre-recording my lessons and playing them during class time and then having the owl be pointed towards the white screen. I'm at a loss here......
Does anyone have feedback for how this works for a group of people that sit in cubes? The owl would be in the center of a 4 pod like a Plus Signe a little higher then our heads. Basically, what is the vertical range?
You use any mic plugged into the computer you're using the owl cam with. Go into the audio settings and select which one you would like. While this mic may not be as nice as the Meetup Cam, it is still much better than a standard webcam or usb microphone at a distance.
@@ForrestWarnerHC Hello Forrest, but in these case, when you're using external mic, the OWL is still using their own microphone for following the people voice, and stay people framed? Thanks!!!
I got a new Owl and I’m teaching hybrid. I want my owl to show me teaching at my board for kids at home. When kids are in the room, he goes to a split screen, cutting off my board so kids can’t see it. Ideas?!

Hi Forrest, can we try Owl Cam with a different microphone within Zoom? The mic does not sound as well as one might want. Thank you.
