  • Adding delay throws to your mixing tool kit can bring variety and depth to your vocals. This video explains the basics behind the how’s, what’s, why’s, and maybe’s of creating and using delay throws on vocals.
Today, I used Soundtoys Echoboy: www.soundtoys.com/product/ech... but another great delay plugin is Waves H-Delay: waves.alzt.net/AWOJ5o or stick with your stock DAW delay plugin.

The addition of the reverb was the unique difference of the throw. I will be using this in the future for sure!

I like the chorus as a doubler to make a vocal thats not so strong a bit stronger and bring in some frequencies that weren't there

Hi Sara, Side question… would you ever do a video showing how to Mix and EQ guitar tracks in a mix that are recorded from a modeler like a Fractal? I know there are EQ issues that you know how to tame and it would help a lot of the folks like me who do use modelers to record songs.

Thanks for the tip Sara. Initially, I was thinking the backing vocals will cover that area but it makes perfect sense on the main vocal. I'm also wondering if it'll sound good on an instrument like the Harmonica or Sax. 🫶

Hi Sara , I Llke a lot what and how do you share in your channel. I find it very easy to understand and supported on with solid concepts. I think that is a lot , on these trash tutorial era.Besides , I love the sound of your voice , its relax me in a musical way. I cant realize if your accent is more British or German , but I dont care. It could be because English isnt my native language. Any way , I wrote a lot. Thank you very much , and many grettings for you from Argentina.
