@@aynawi i did had a first hand experience with that, when i had to stay overtime for work like 3:00 AM in the morning. One of my colleague invited me as the other colleague was out for the job and there he had his empty bed. I testify that i have never slept on a thing like that before. I couldn't sleep with that excruciating pain in my back, i left my friends hostel at 5:30 AM in the morning as the sun rose. The very next day i asked my other colleague who was out for work all night that how could you sleep on that thing? He replied with the smile that i can't sleep on soft mattresses.

But despite its beauty, nothing matches the kindness and hospitality of its people....regardless of the western media narrative. A must visit country....

Pakistan infrastructure is coming along given its three main mountain ranges, Himalayas, Karakoram and Hindu Kush with hundreds of peaks over 5,000 meters. But what really sets Pakistan apart are the people and their hospitality. No random person ever bought me a cup of tea or coffee in Switzerland.....in Pakistan it is a daily occurrence. At the end of the day the beauty and the people of Pakistan make it stand alone.

I always get confused with mamu and chachu. There was a kid who I used to tutor at my house and she was Pakistani , so she used to tell me some days " aaj mamu aye the ghar pe " Another day " aaj chachu aye the ghar pe" So chachu is father's brother? With basic Urdu/Hindi knowledge I used to struggle here there talking to the child.
20 more days than I’ll b in Pakistan, i was 12 when I moved from Pak to Aus and it’s been 10 years since I last saw Pak Very exited to visit, it’ll be very new to me since I was a small kid when I moved from there
I've repaired my backpack and although I didn't have those specific tools, I did have needles for jean repairs and thick thread for it with a thimble and it is a bit hard to get the needle through with just a thimble! Glad you have him a little extra, he deserved it!

You should definitely try Broadway Pizza in Lahore. Their pizzas are extremely good and tasty. I used to order their pizza with cheese filled crust. The memories are literally making my mouth water 🤤 I really miss eating their pizza. Unfortunately, I can't find that kind of pizza here in Germany 🥺 I'm really enjoying your Pakistan 2.0 series. I haven't visited Pakistan for almost 2 years due to corona. I hope I can visit this year in October or November as my family lives there. February, March, October & November are the best months to visit Pakistan. I avoid visiting Pakistan in summers as the temperature is high. @@aynawi i did had a first hand experience with that, when i had to stay overtime for work like 3:00 AM in the morning. One of my colleague invited me as the other colleague was out for the job and there he had his empty bed. I testify that i have never slept on a thing like that before. I couldn't sleep with that excruciating pain in my back, i left my friends hostel at 5:30 AM in the morning as the sun rose. The very next day i asked my other colleague who was out for work all night that how could you sleep on that thing? He replied with the smile that i can't sleep on soft mattresses.

Pakistan is mind blowing. With 5 of the 14 peaks over 8,000 meters and 108 peals over 5,000 meters - by comparison, Switzerland has 2. Pakistan has over 3,000 glaciers. But despite its beauty, nothing matches the kindness and hospitality of its people....regardless of the western media narrative. A must visit country....

Pakistan infrastructure is coming along given its three main mountain ranges, Himalayas, Karakoram and Hindu Kush with hundreds of peaks over 5,000 meters. But what really sets Pakistan apart are the people and their hospitality. No random person ever bought me a cup of tea or coffee in Switzerland.....in Pakistan it is a daily occurrence. At the end of the day the beauty and the people of Pakistan make it stand alone.

I've repaired my backpack and although I didn't have those specific tools, I did have needles for jean repairs and thick thread for it with a thimble and it is a bit hard to get the needle through with just a thimble!

You should definitely try Broadway Pizza in Lahore. Their pizzas are extremely good and tasty. I used to order their pizza with cheese filled crust. The memories are literally making my mouth water 🤤 I really miss eating their pizza. Unfortunately, I can't find that kind of pizza here in Germany 🥺
I'm really enjoying your Pakistan 2.0 series. I haven't visited Pakistan for almost 2 years due to corona. I hope I can visit this year in October or November as my family lives there. February, March, October & November are the best months to visit Pakistan. I avoid visiting Pakistan in summers as the temperature is high. It gets too hot in Lahore 😂
